Middleport Pottery is a heritage wedding venue in Stoke-on-Trent. As a timeless Grade II* listed Victorian pottery factory, our heritage site is bathed in rich history, distinctive features & a rustic aesthetic. Our site is licenced for civil ceremonies as well as offering a wedding reception venue that oozes with charm. Middleport Pottery is the ideal wedding venue for couples who are seeking a flexible approach to wedding planning.

We offer a variety of locations and capacities for ceremonies and receptions up to 250 guests throughout your day. Our bottle oven is licensed for legal ceremonies as well as each of our event rooms. We are located on the banks of the Trent and Mersey canal which offers a beautiful historical backdrop for all your wedding photographs
Our Friendly, wedding specialists have years of experience planning weddings and are here to advise you throughout your journey
We are close to all major transport links making travelling for your guests easier and various carparks onsite with plenty of capacity.

If your still looking for a unique venue to hold your wedding in 2024, Middleport Pottery has availability. Access the day before your wedding to dress the rooms, giving you peace of mind before your big day itself. Exclusive use of the site including heritage areas after 4pm. You get to choose your caterer from our preferred list giving you complete control of your menu and budget. Contact us know for more details and to book a wedding showround.

Yes of course, please ask the Re-Form event manager for details.

Yes, our wedding licence is for the Regal Peacock, Burgess Room, the Arden Mezzanine, the Bottle Oven, and outdoor areas. We can work with you and your celebrant/registrar/minister.

We offer in-house catering with our preferred suppliers – local businesses that offer a range of delicious options and can deal with varying budget.

The venue will be made available to you the day before to dress from 12 noon and 5pm. If additional time is required, this would be possible but would incur an additional cost.

Last orders are approximately 11.10pm. The bar closes and music must finish by 11.30pm.

Bio-degradable confetti and rice are permitted in the outside areas only.

Whilst we do allow candles outside, they cannot be used in any inside space for safety reasons.

There is no accommodation available at the venue. We recommend the Hilton Garden Inn & DoubleTree by Hilton or please enquire at our reception for a full list of recommended local hotels.

Originally built in 1888, Middleport Pottery is filled with authentic charm and original features; from atmospheric alleyways to charming indoor spaces. Visiting the pottery is an absolute must. All wedding and civil partnership enquiries receive a free tour of the site to explore all it has to offer.
