Going upstairs into The Assembly Rooms, natural light floods in through the two large side windows. This creating an airy and light space that can seat up to 140 guests.
Walking through the space to the private bar upstairs, you'll be welcomed by our handcrafted solid oak bar serving local tipples as well as all of your favourites, an impressive chandelier and wonderfully modern and decadent design.
It's a great space for evening dancing and there's even a Juliet balcony, sitting on top of the bookcase holding Charles Dickens first editions .
The Dickens Suite is suitable for small intimate gatherings perfectly suited for Micro Weddings.

Located on Hide Hill in the centre of Berwick Upon Tweed, a historic coastal town and the northernmost town in England, the Kings Arms is only a short walk from the towns main train station as well as shops, restaurants and attractions. These include the old walls which surround the town and old castle ruins.
