You can still spot some of the original architecture from when this Southwark venue was a Victorian school, contrasting with its current use as a bright, contemporary gallery. This main space features columns and a gabled ceiling, and displays exhibitions of paintings, sculpture, audio-visual work and murals, looked after by Jerwood Visual Arts. Mostly used for talks, presentations, drinks receptions and sit-down meals, the gallery can hold up to 200 people standing, and 80 seated. Adjacent is The Glasshouse, a beautiful fully-glazed smaller space in the courtyard garden area which can be used in all weather.
