Formerly a coaching inn, Douglas Arms Hotel dates back to the 18th century, and as such, it is even older than the town encompassing it. It is now refurbished and modernised to meet the needs of 21st-century travellers, although it still has kept its original classic look.

The 96-square-metre function room can accommodate up to 53 people. With 14 tables and 53 chairs already provided, you can rest assured that all the guests can be perfectly seated during the ceremony. The room is accessible through stairs with wheelchair access provided, too. The hotel contains 16 parking spots which are on-site and free.
Castle Douglas, the town housing the hotel, is in Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland. Castle Douglas was founded in 1792 by William Douglas, who had a plan for a town built near Carlingwark Loch.
