Our Wedding Rooms
The Music Room
This distinctive octagonal hall was added to the manor house in 1894. Original features such as the grandiose stone fireplaces make it a spectacular space. If you’re looking for a real sense of occasion, the built-in organ can be used to add that fairy tale touch to your ceremony. The Music Room seats up to 120 guests for the ceremony and for a seated reception.

The Medieval Room
The oblong shaped Medieval Room seats 60 guests for an intimate ceremony. It can accommodate more guests for a drinks reception. The room’s rustic charm is complemented by a wonderful fireplace and medieval style chandeliers that hang from the open beam ceiling. Double doors lead directly into The Music Room if you would like to make use of both spaces.

The Red Dining Room
The Red Room is perfect for celebrating with your nearest and dearest. It will fit 12 people for a formal seated dinner or 30 standing guests. And if you are having a larger wedding at Woolhanger, the calm and comfort of The Red Room offers an extra space for your guests to relax.

The Semi-Walled Upper Garden
For larger weddings we have the most fantastic raised lawn with views over Exmoor. This is the perfect location for a marquee wedding or an open air drinks reception or function.
