It's that time again when we've reached the awkward in-between - the sunny summer days clinging on for dear life whilst the blustery wind tries to fight through. It certainly makes autumn wedding outfit decisions trickier to manage. Can you get another wear out of that floral maxi dress, or is time for some white skinnies and killer heels? Read on for some autumn outfit inspiration.

Let me start with the chaps. Whilst it may seem as simple as putting on a suit, why not jazz it up a bit? If you love tweed, autumn weddings are the perfect time for it; warm and stylish. For some more tweed wedding ideas, take a look at our Pinterest board.

Not ready for the summer to be over? Bright floral numbers are always a favourite for that late summer sun. Perhaps go for length and long sleeves in case there's a chill in the air.

If bright patterns aren't really your thing, it's the perfect time to start wearing autumn colours; reds, oranges and yellows. Again, pick longer sleeves and length to keep in the warmth.

I always find most ladies go in dresses to a wedding, so going for the complete opposite makes you stand out (as well as being uber comfy). A patterned jumpsuit with a pair of heels or a simple top with some unique trousers. Comfortable and classy!

Don't forget your jacket! It might be sunny during the day but the nights are getting chilly and so will you. Pair total opposites -like this pretty girly dress with this boxy tomboyish leather jacket. I love leather jackets...just not sure I could pull off the "cool" look...
