Blue Wedding Flowers

Blue flowers not only have a much needed calming effect on your wedding day, but they symbolise peace, tranquility and senerity. Gorgeous blue flowers for your wedding include: hydrangeas, delphiniums, nigelas, forget-me-nots and hyacinths.

Black Wedding Flowers

Black flowers are a powerful and statement choice for a wedding. Of course, in reality there are no flowers that are truly black with most being very dark shades of purples and reds unless they have been artificially dyed. For weddings, black flowers can symbolise power, mystery and elegance. Here are some ideas for flowers that are (close to) black: tulips, hellebore, dahlias, calla lillies.

Metallic Wedding Flowers

Sometimes a touch of metallic hue can look perfect on wedding flowers and some have a close to metallic hue. For weddings, spray-painted gypsophila looks especially gorgeous in golds and silvers. Dried bouquets are also brilliant for getting a golden hue. If you are wanting truly metallic coloured florals, faux flowers are the perfect solution for getting those unique colours that you just can't get from real flowers.
