Want an Independent Wedding?

The trend of bespoke weddings is becoming increasingly popular, where couples can organise and tailor every single aspect of their big day. Whilst package weddings still remain popular, for individually-minded couples who don't want to feel like their wedding is the same as the next couple, going down the DIY route has never been easier. With a new breed of 'independent' wedding venues who don't insist you use any particular supplier, freedom and choice are the name of the game.

The aim of having an independent wedding is to create a unique celebration, which is like no other.  There are even websites which now specialise in independent weddings and are dedicated in assisting the self-sufficient bride. They provide a list of exclusive venues which allow you to bring in your own caterers and serve your own wine (without paying corkage!).

Experts in this field, Kemp and Kemp Catering, specialise in bespoke catering - meaning that there are no set menus, or lists to choose from. The team work with every single couple to develop (and deliver) dream menus. Personalised catering is a very long way from 'Menu A, Menu B' and the 'grey chicken in grey sauce' that represents most people's memory of a wedding breakfast.
