Are you looking for a classic and natural colour scheme for your big day? One trend we are simply in love with is the gorgeous pairing of white and green. This simple colour scheme gives such an elegant feel, looking effortlessly perfect as you and your guests enjoy your day. Take a look at the ideas below to start planning your wonderful white and green wedding.

1) Invitations

The first thing that your guests will see, so why not give them a glimpse of your theme with some detailed artwork like these beautiful invites from On Cloud Nine stationery.

2) Bridesmaids

Whilst a rich green can work to match the leaves of your flowers, particularly with lilies, a pastel green colour can bring a much lighter and brighter feel to your bridal team which really stands out in photographs.

3) The Bride

Whilst the bride can carry the white theme throughout the day, why not add a hint of greenery with a natural headpiece.

4) Flowers

Whether you choose an elaborate, show-stopping bouquet, or go for a simpler posie, speak to your florist about your theme and they will be able to advise you on what flowers will work best, and create floral arrangements to decorate your venue.

5) Table decorations

White candles work really well with this colour scheme, giving warmth to your celebration. We like the idea of adding a touch of greenery instead of a table runner, keeping it simple and elegant.

6) Cake

This theme allows you to bring out your traditional side with a simple white wedding cake, perhaps decorated with a few floral arrangements to make it really eye-catching. Alternatively, it means you and your cake decorator can become quite creative in the process if you wish.

7) Venue Decor

Balloons have become quite a trend this year, especially ones filled with confetti, other balloons, or perhaps a little extra greenery.

8) Extra touches

Your white and green colour scheme doesn't have to stop there. Incorporate your theme by adding a few extra touches throughout your wedding day like Rochelle and Nathan.
