Top Wedding Ring Trends for 2021
With 2020 almost over (what a year it’s been…), we’re starting to look at wedding trends for the coming year. Your wedding ring acts as a physical reminder of your marriage vows to each other, and will be special and personal to you. There are an endless variety of wedding ring styles to choose from, so let’s take a look at the most popular styles for 2021!
Diamond-Banded Wedding Rings
One of our favourite trends for 2021 is the diamond-banded wedding ring. They are perfect for the sparkle lover and look gorgeous paired with a classic solitaire style engagement ring. We love these stunning variations of diamond-banded wedding rings above from Lover’s Rock Diamonds. You could go for a single layer of diamonds, a double layer or even a triple diamond layer! Have a look at different variations of this stunning wedding ring style and see which you like best!
Vintage Style Wedding Rings
This beautiful 9ct rose gold, opal and diamond wedding ring from High Bridge Jewellers is a perfect example of a huge trend coming next year. Vintage style wedding rings are undoubtedly romantic and unique. Whether you’d love a newly made wedding ring in a vintage-style or a something pre-owned and genuinely vintage, talk to your local jewellers as they often stock both! This gorgeous style isn’t going away any time soon.
Twisted Wedding Rings
Another popular style for 2021 is the twisted wedding ring. There are lots of different variations of this style, and they look incredible paired with almost any engagement ring style! We particularly love this beautiful twisted wedding ring in rose gold from Aspire Fine Jewellery Limited. The delicate row of diamonds are simply divine!
Bespoke Wedding Rings
If you’re looking for something completely different, or if you have a dream wedding ring in mind but just can’t find it, then a bespoke ring is for you! This huge trend of designing, or even actually making your own wedding rings is definitely one of our favourites. We’re obsessed with this stunning gold wedding ring set engraved with the couple’s fingerprints, which was made at Rosalyn’s Emporium. They offer workshops where you can make your own rings together – we can’t think of anything more romantic!
Dipped/Shaped Wedding Rings
If your engagement ring is simply stunning and you’re worried about your wedding ring drawing attention from it, this trend is for you. A dipped or shaped wedding ring is curved to fit around your engagement ring, creating the perfect pairing. We think this beautiful diamond-encrusted wedding band from Ingle & Rhode is absolutely gorgeous! There are so many shapes you can choose from and they really accentuate the beauty of your engagement ring.
Two-Tone Wedding Rings
Lastly, another big trend coming for next year is two-tone wedding rings. This gorgeous style harkens back to vintage wedding rings that were sometimes made with two different metals. We love this modern upgrade of the style in these gorgeous wedding rings from David Roger Sharp Jewellers. The best thing about this modern version of the two-tone wedding ring trend is that there are so many metal options to choose from now: platinum, gold, silver, palladium, titanium, white gold, rose gold, tungsten… the list goes on!
Now you’ve decided what ring styles you like, it’s time to try some out! Get in contact with a jeweller near you to see what they have to offer.
