So, your bride squad is good to go but there's one thing still to decide: what are they wearing? Lots of brides find it difficult to get their bridesmaids to all agree on one dress, so we're here to help. No bride wants their bridesmaids to feel uncomfortable in a dress they hate, so communicate with your bridesmaids to make sure that they're happy with their dresses. From glittery gowns to pretty pastel dresses, get inspired with this guide to the ultimate bridesmaid inspiration.

1). Boho Babes

Perfect for outdoor weddings, a bohemian look is a brilliant for bridesmaids who want an effortless, laid-back look. When shopping for boho bridesmaid dresses, look out for neutral tones, lace, and floaty fabrics! Achieving this look is simple: it's all about beachy waves, minimal makeup, and LOTS of florals plus don't forget those flower crowns!

2). Sparkle & Shine

Instantly add a touch of glamour to your bridesmaids' outfits with some gorgeous, glittery gowns! Metallic shades and sequins are a fab way to add a modern twist to your big day. We recommend a pair of nude heels and white flowers to finish the look - let the statement dress do the talking!

3). A Splash of Colour

Want a bridesmaid look with the wow-factor? Go for a bright colour that is sure to make them stand out from the crowd. For Autumn/Winter weddings, we love orange and red. But for Spring/Summer, go for a bold pink like our Real Weddings' Laura and Jason, turquoise, or yellow.

4). Mix & Match!

If you can't get your bridesmaids to agree on one style of dress, why not opt for mismatched dresses like real bride Jade? This fun option is perfect for laid-back brides who don't mind whether their bridal party is coordinated or not. We think this is a fab way to let your bridesmaids' personalities shine on your big day.

5). Pretty in Pastels

Particularly great for Spring/Summer weddings like Sarah and Shaun's, pastel shades are perfect for brides who want a subtle touch of feminine colour, but don't want anything too bright or overwhelming. These youthful shades will look great on everybody, and instantly add a bit of fun to your bridesmaids' looks.

6). Flower Power

As real weddings couple Sophie and Ted know, you can't go wrong with a bold and retro floral print! This versatile trend is wonderful for any type of wedding, and will suit absolutely everybody! Traditionally, floral prints are most common for Spring/Summer weddings, but we think they'd look amazing for a wedding in any season.

7). Short & Sweet

Playful, short bridesmaid dresses are a fab way to break the mould on your big day. Whether you pair this look with girly heels or casual flats, this versatile style will work for all bridesmaids. When it comes to colours, you can get as creative as you like: either keeping it soft with a pretty peach shade, or more striking with a dark navy like our Real Weddings' Kathryn and Rob.

8). Polka Dots

If you're looking for something a little bit different, polka dots dresses can be a brilliant way to make your bridesmaids stand out. Pair this show-stopping retro look with a bold red lipstick and a bright, colourful bouquet and you're good to go!
