Tythe. is a beautiful historical wedding barn set in the glorious Oxfordshire countryside. The barn itself was built in the 1360s, and has been run by the same family since 1998. This venue is a popular choice for couples who want an intimate barn wedding.
The barn is filled with history and is in the perfect rural location with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for events. Just 10 minutes from junction 9 of the M40 and accessible to stations with direct routes from Birmingham and London, tythe. is a wonderful choice for anybody.
Accommodation
The Farmhouse at Tythe. has been in the family for 500 years and is at the heart of the Manor Farm. It is the perfect home-from-home, a stone's throw away from the barn and gardens.
The farmhouse has seven stunning bedrooms including a bridal suite. The interiors are cosy and have plenty of locally sourced soft furnishings and ceramics chosen for their sustainability credentials. This is available for a minimum of 2-nights with a food and beverage option or on a self-catering basis. The Farmhouse also has a wood-fired hot tub and tennis court available to use!
Tythe. also have an exclusive use Shepherd's hut complete with underfloor heating, mini fridge and and a log burner making it so snug and unique!

Tythe. know that food is at the heart of a celebration and your wedding needs an extra special menu! For the past 20 years Tythe. has partnered with Absolute Taste where gifted chefs create fresh seasonal menus.
Whether your day calls for some nibbles, something hearty or a more formal meal they can create something beautifully to your preferences. Their signature is slow-cooked Deely-lamb and is a firm favourite among guests! They also offer more quirky dishes which is perfect for foodies!
Weddings and Events
Your guests will have exclusive use of this venue for two nights either over the weekend or as a mid-week mini break! Perfect for the couples who want to make the most of their wedding celebrations. Time seems to slow down at this relaxing, quintessentially English venue.
Tythe. have an inhouse wedding coordinator to help you up to your magical day and offer both indoor and outdoor ceremonies. There are plenty of rustic backdrops for beautiful photographs and so many special touches. The Cowshed adjoins the main barn and is smaller but still the charming features of timber beams, cobbled stone floors and twinkling fairy lights.
The Cowshed also includes floor to ceiling windows and a pizza oven! There are plenty of games to play including 'Connect Four' as well as plenty of space to bust some moves on the dance floor! The team at Tythe. offer plenty of extras including vintage milk churns that you can decorate with flowers!

Tythe. offers a special bridal preparation area called "The Nook" where you and your bridesmaids can go to get ready for the big day. The Nook is divided into two main rooms, each with large mirrors, seating, lighting, and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. You can also order a bottle or two champagne to sip on whilst getting ready!
