Following a major refurbishment, one of London’s most recognisable civil wedding venues, The Old Marylebone Town Hall has reopened its doors! And Guides for Brides were among the lucky few to attend this reopening.

In the heart of the city, this venue is perfect intimate wedding ceremonies, with each room differing in size and character. The new seven rooms are named after the city’s most iconic area and it’s hard to choose a favourite.

The Westminster Room

The largest room with a capacity of 100 people. The interior is beautiful with original wood panelling, giving the room a grand, luxurious feel.

The Knightsbridge Room

From greys to velvet, this room seats 30 and is perfect for formal, intimate occasions.

The Soho Room

This room has a relaxed feel with endless beautiful light fading in. It’s dramatic chandelier reflects two gold rings, ideal for weddings. This room can hold ceremonies for up to 20 people.

Paddington and Marylebone Rooms

Adjoining the Westminster room each side, these rooms are the smallest, perfect for relaxed ceremonies for up to 15 people, each with a different character.

Pimlico Room

A twin of the Soho room, the Pimlico room has a more traditional feel to it and would be an excellent location for a wedding party of 20 people.

The Mayfair Room

Beautiful rose gold detailing with a touch of aubergine velvet, this room is our favourite decor wise and has seating up to 30 guests.

The prices for The Old Marylebone Town Hall vary between £375 and £740, depending on room and the day of the week. The Registrars are taking booking for 2018 and 2019 and will be holding an open weekend and a series of open evenings for couples to choose their ceremony room and discuss their plans.
