The Military Wedding.
Choosing your wedding style and theme can be difficult for some couples where as for others it is an easy choice. Whether you choose to have a military style wedding because you are in the forces or because you are patriotic and like the style, browse through and take a peek to get some ideas.
The Guard of Honour is a tradition dating back as a mark of respect as well as celebration. It is a great way to incorporate a military dimension into your wedding without going too over the top. Furthermore it is a unique way to leave the church and fantastic opportunity for some stunning photography.
When it comes to your wedding cake, a popular option is to cut into the cake with a sword. Similarly to the Guard of Honour it is a nice way to tie in the military theme to your wedding. If you don’t have a link to the forces- it is still a great way to add a dramatic feature to your reception.
When you are deciding on the photography for your wedding and choosing particularly shots you would like, why not consider bringing in your military dog tags to tie in your lives in the forces. As the dog tags are so iconic, it would add a lovely feature to your photo album
Your day to day job may be very formal, but there is no reason why your whole wedding has to be like that too. It can be nice to end your wedding in a more romantic and relaxed atmosphere. This is the day when you are not on duty so let your hair down and spend it with your love.
