Styled Shoot: An Intimate, Country House Wedding
Looking for some inspiration for an intimate, country house wedding? We are thrilled to share this stunning styled shoot thanks to Events with Akilah. So, if you are trying to plan a gorgeous wedding that is also COVID-secure, take a look at these incredible shots to complete your wedding vision…
About the Styled Shoot
Morden Hall is a stunning, romantic country house in South London, skirting the edges of Surrey. Home to nature’s finest, couples that choose to wed here have the privilege of exclusive use of the home and grounds. This shoot was conceived by the venue in response to the pandemic. So, we aimed to inspire couples that small weddings are beautiful and can be even more intimate and incredible at Morden Hall. With Morden’s most trusted suppliers, we put together a shoot that created a classic wintery theme to showcase how a couple’s trusted suppliers and venue can ensure they will provide a safe and inspiring environment for all to attend.
The colour scheme was filled with soft and navy blues, burgundy, and glitter. So, it created a classic and elegant feel. The styling by Lost in Yesteryear & Harriets Table created a timeless feel, allowing space for intimate dining in a large dining room. The beautiful and delicate florals were carefully curated by Flowers by Eve and complimented the bridesmaid dresses and robes by Matchimony. The bride wore a stunning ethical gown from Sanyukta Shrestha.
Having cake pops instead of cake servings also highlights how creative couples can be to have a “pandemic” wedding, as did the intimate dinner entertainment by Naomi Wilmhurst. The day was beautifully captured by Galileo and our wedding film by KV Wedding Film & Photo. I loved coordinating the shoot and hope it inspires all to save their original date if the venues can withhold and have an intimate wedding.
