Stoke Park Spa

Stoke Park consists of the main mansion house - full of chandeliers, traditional country club charm and golfers, and the Pavilion – a more contemporary building with modern bedrooms, quirky art and a very extensive health centre with a huge fitness suite, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, swimming pool and spa area. There is a choice of dining, from the fine-dining 3 AA Rosette winning restaurant Humphry’s to bar food and a bistro, with 300 acres of Capability Brown landscaped gardens for a walk after your lunch.

  • Large indoor heated swimming pool with hydroseats,
  •  Italian marble steam rooms
  • Outdoor Sauna
  •  Deep relaxation room with massage chairs, beds and thick duvets
  •  Private atrium with comfortable sofas, drinks and snacks and a stunning 5 metre tropical aquarium,
  • Nail bar
  • Spa Boutique

Having enjoyed lunch in the award winning Dining Room, and a stroll in the gardens, our Stoke Park Spa experience started in the spacious, state of the art changing rooms. The changing area is shared with the rest of the health club but didn’t seem busy or crowded and features steam rooms.

Over £20million has been invested in the Spa area, and the design, fittings and furnishings are all of a very high standard although surprising lacking the more obvious facilities such as a Jacuzzi.  At the centre of the Spa is a large heated indoor pool overlooking the garden. There are a few loungers, but the focus is on swimming rather that lazing by the pool with a pile of magazines. The needs of the health club members are well balanced with those visiting for a spa break, with specific times set aside as child friendly swimming times.

The treatment rooms are accessed from a large comfortable atrium lounge; the most comfortable pre-treatment relaxation area we have come across. There is a wide choice of complimentary health snacks, teas and coffee.
The treatment rooms are tastefully decorated and well equipped. The spa currently employs 5 full time therapists and a team of part time therapists, and we had no difficulty in booking treatments at a time to suit us.

We tried the Active Glow Facial – which was divine and expertly delivered, and an Algae wrap. Both used the Spa’s own skincare range, SPC, which is available in the Spa Boutique if you want to continue your treatment at home.

For relaxation after the treatments, Stoke Park has got it just right. A darkened room with massage chairs and beds with thick warm duvets - you can't fail to relax.

Suitable for small hen groups, couples, mother and daughter, and particularly for those looking for a more sophisticated country house feel. Stoke Park
