Back in January, we were lucky enough to be included in the stunning wedding themed showcase, Lunch in Bloom, presented by The Royal Society of Arts and Hayford and Rhodes. An event designed to admire the spectacular venue and beautiful florist arrangements put together by the hugely talented Hayford and Rhodes. Emily & Jo stationery, H+J catering, academy furniture and blank canvas entertainment were also among the brilliant suppliers who made the lunch memorable and gorgeous.
All the beautiful photos below were taken by Andrew Billington at Andrew Billington Photography.
After the event, we caught up with Emily and Jo Stationery and Hayford and Rhodes to find out where they got their inspiration from and how they thought the event went.

“We loved being able to immerse ourselves in the vibrant ultra-violet, deep luxurious purple and the fresh pink pallet of January. It was wonderful to collaborate with Hayford and Rhodes and envisage a sumptuous and fresh design that reflected their opulent florals as well as the atmosphere of such an amazing venue."
“The table plan design offered a taste of what was beyond the doors and on revealing the stunning table design, the room felt as if 2018 was absolutely in bloom. With ultra-violet being the Pantone colour of 2018, this was a brilliant way to introduce ways in which this colour can be incorporated into a beautiful stationery suite.”

“There is no greater source of inspiration for a florist than the transition of the seasons. Winter turning into Spring stimulated our florals for the RSA Lunch In Bloom, it was as simple as that.”
“We plucked the deep maroons and rich purple tones from the incredible James Barry painting of the Great Room which reflected the tablescape florals. We paired the Pansies with the equally delicate and enchanting Hellebore to give depth and texture completing the look”.
