Situated in Cheshire, Rookery Hall Hotel is a unique country house venue which boasts timeless elegance, a superb spa and exquisite dining. Set in 38 acres of Cheshire countryside, the 4 AA Red Star hotel is a beautiful location for a romantic retreat or wedding.
The hotel was built in 1816 and has been continually extended and restored maintaining its period features and historic charm. The hotel has a particularly homely feel throughout which helps create an idyllic hotel ambience.
Built in the original stable block on the estate, you will find the relaxing Rookery Hall Spa. With 7 treatment rooms, a large indoor pool and hydrotherapy pool, amber lounge and relaxation room, alongside relaxing sauna and steam rooms – you will never want to leave this relaxing haven.
The 70 beautiful bedrooms successfully balance the hotel’s mix of old and new. The Old Hall has 10 bedrooms, including 2 Junior Suites. Across the building, the traditional 1990’s wing hosts 21 Classic bedrooms, Junior Suites and Suites whilst the executive wing offers 39 stylish Executive bedrooms. Furnishings are to the highest standards and help create a “home from home” feel. The television set into the bathroom tiles is an added touch which exudes luxury.
Rookery Hall Hotel has achieved notable accolades for its stunning fine cuisine and wine list, making it an particularly excellent place to wine and dine. Renowned for its 2 AA rosettes, it’s no wonder we very impressed with the fine presentation, exceptional service and high quality of food that we received. We chose the twice baked Shropshire blue cheese soufflé with a Waldorf salad to start, followed by seared monkfish, sweet and sour lentils, prawn toast, charred sweet corn and bok choy. We then indulged in white chocolate mousse with pineapple sorbet for desert.
