Retro Wedding Sweets

Everyone likes jelly beans, fizzy cola bottles and sherbet lemons, but lets be honest, how many people really enjoy eating sugared almonds? For fun and inexpensive favours that all of your guests will love, take them back to their childhood with retro sweets.

Do it Yourself with some candy-striped paper bags or organza tulle and pretty ribbons, or order your favours from one of the many companies who will package them beautifully for you.

Hope and Greenwood have started a popular trend in sweet packaging which is sure to be popular at weddings -  mini jars of wrapped sweets with a printed paper cover and a colour co-ordinated ribbon.

Consider a different theme for each table - perhaps based on colours - or choose a different selection of sweets for each guest to show how well you know them.
Particularly popular for seaside weddings, traditional sticks of Rock can be personalised with your names or the date of your wedding running right through each stick.

Minimum orders apply, so be prepared for dentist bills after the wedding as you munch your way through any surplus stock.
There are a number of companies offering retro sweeties either loose, for you to package, or in pretty packaging or jars, and one of our favourites is "A Quarter Of".
