Printing your own Invitations
Printing your own wedding invitations is an excellent way to reduce the costs of wedding stationery if you are having a budget wedding. WIth DIY wedding stationery kits improving so much there is no reason while you have to sacrifice style when trying to keep costs down.
- If you are not artistic the best way to add decor elements is by using a high quality clipart that will already have themes and images, so all you have to do is put the words you want in place. Furthermore if you use a professional program, it may take a little more time to work how how to use, but in the end you will have much more flexibility in the end product.
- Choose the fonts on your invitations carefully. The best is about 2, one script and one block, but beyond three is going a bit over the top.
- Think about how many pieces you need. Remember you need enough paper for mess ups! It can be cost effective to order large pieces of paper and then cut them up yourself.
- To finish them off with a lovely touch, why not tie them together with ribbon? It can give them an a lovely expensive look and makes your guests feel special.
Although printing your own invitations can seem like a stress at the time, the satisfaction when you have finished with a beautiful hand-made product is priceless.
