A beautiful bespoke dress teamed with silk converse baseball boots perfectly summed up the contrasts that made Julia and Liam’s wedding so memorable: from the pastel coloured bridesmaids’ dresses (designed by Julia herself), to the soft-hued pick and mix lovehearts, mini-eggs and Swedish bilar in the sweetie bar; from the classic cake to the buffet-style barbecue.
Undoubtedly, some of the stylish confidence exuded by the couple’s choices can be attributed to the fact that they’ve known each other since they were just eleven years old! They’ve also known the bridesmaids and the best man that long too, since the entire bridal party were in the same year at school.
After the delicious food and entertaining speeches, the best man surprised the happy couple and all the guests with a quiz all about the bride and groom, with the winning table being awarded a bottle of champagne. They then cut the beautiful cake, made to a design Julia had spotted in a magazine, and everyone adjourned to the beautiful gardens to watch the pretty pastel balloon release and allow the barn to be prepared for an evening of dancing.
