Just a few minutes walk from the main hotels and shopping district, the Seattle Pan Pacific is at the centre of one of the fastest growing neighbourhoods in the United States, and it is easy to see why they have chosen this spot. Centrally located it is just a 10 minute walk to Lake Union, the shopping district or the Space Needle, where the city's museums, galleries and science centre are also located.

  • Modern hotel with 113 rooms and 47 suites.
  • Raw Bar
  • Bar / restaurant
  • Main restaurant
  • Vida Spa opposite with huge hydrotherapy pool, fitness suite and luxury spa treatments.
  • Up and coming area with a great local vibe.

The hotel is set back from the road, above a Whole Foods supermarket and next to a small parade of shops catering for the needs of the many entrepreneurs that have made this part of Seattle their home. Stunning views of the Space Needle are protected by nearby Phipps Park.

This is the place to stay if you want to really get a feel for Seattle life. Local professionals and entrepreneurs frequent the hotel's popular Raw Bar and many are members of the hotel's gym. There is an easy, friendly, youthful vibe about the place.

Decor throughout the hotel is beautifully understated with limestone floors and colour palettes influenced by the sea, and all the rooms take advantage of the views with huge picture windows, many of them looking directly at Seattle's iconic view; the Space Needle

In addition to the main restaurant, there is a popular Raw Bar and a cosy bar/dining room for breakfast. The restaurant serves good quality locally sourced fare; we enjoyed delights including fresh oysters, seared tuna, king crab and steak, all simply, yet perfectly, prepared. The wine list is varied and includes a good range of local wines.

We stayed in one of the hotel's luxurious suites, so opted for in-room dining to enjoy the same fantastic standard of cuisine from the comfort of our own private dining room. Although the standard guest rooms are larger and more luxurious than most standard rooms, the suites offer so much more with a huge main bathroom opening into the bedroom, big squishy sofas, separate bedroom and dining areas and a second shower room. There is a small desk in each suite but the general ambience feels aimed far more towards pleasure than business!

Opposite the hotel is the Vida Spa where guests can enjoy the most divine spa treatments, work out in the well equipped gym or relax in the hot hydrotherapy tub - one of the best we have seen. Indeed it is worth staying in the Pan Pacific just to have this Spa on your doorstep!

The hotel has so many great photographic backdrops that local wedding photographers sneak couples in there just for photos! There is a beautiful, modern, sweeping staircase into the lobby and the extensive suite of rooms that can be booked for wedding ceremonies and receptions include a lush green patio garden with the Space Needle behind.

The hotel only ever accepts one wedding booking per day so couples can enjoy exclusive use.
