The Venue
Steeped in history, the Edwardian venue was once home to the Duke of Wellington. If you love properties with historical charm, then you'll love the venue's listed bow windows and baroque staircase. From the intricate window latches to the charming chandeliers, there are fine Edwardian details at every turn.
Getting Married
With a license for civil ceremonies, there are a variety of different options to create the ceremony of your dreams. Whether you want a room oozing history and charm, or modern elegance - there is a room to suit every taste at No.4 Hamilton Place. There are a number of different rooms to choose from at the venue. The Marshall of Cambridge Room and Foyer is a beautiful space; adorned with gold, silk damask and polished wood, this room can hold up to 60 guests for a civil ceremony or 40 for a seated reception. The Handley Page and Sopwith Rooms on the 2nd floor work beautifully together for smaller wedding breakfasts, with one for the drinks reception and the other for the seated meal for a up to 40 guests.
The Bill Boeing room offers a much more modern space and is perfect for large weddings, holding up to 250 guests for a ceremony or 180 for a seated reception. However, our personal favourite is the impressive Argyll Room and Terrace which can hold up to 100 guests for a ceremony and 120 for a seated reception. Situated at the heart of the Edwardian town house, this elegant and ornate room embraces both decor and light, with big bow windows at either end. The room leads onto the beautiful Terrace which overlooks Hyde Park - perfect for that picturesque photo backdrop.
