If you're looking for unique, unforgettable honeymoon accommodation, look no further than the Nature Observatorio. Located in Manzanillo, Costa Rica, this incredible accommodation is an actual treehouse, suspended from trees in the area's famous rainforest.Â
Meet Peter in the nearby town, and set off on a guided hike into primary rainforest  before arriving at the nature observatory, suspended 25 metres above the ground. Experience the sights and sounds of the rainforest - nothing can beat waking at dawn to the sound of howler monkeys calling to each other across the tree canopy.
It is no surprise that this has been the chosen place for a number of marriage proposals. Â Once you have pulled yourself up the 25 metres to the platform the same rope and pulley system is used to deliver the meals, leaving you in total solitude in the jungle.
Before leaving, ensure to allow time for a jungle hike after breakfast with Peter or one of the locals he works with in the forest. Â They can teach you about natural cures from the plants around you, and identify tiny colourful poison dart frogs - there are several varieties in the forest and and we saw three in as many minutes - as well as snakes, birds and interesting insects.
