'Made to Measure' Wedding Dresses give you the chance to have your perfect dream wedding dresses. Once you have had all your measurements and decided on the design and material that you want, all you have to do is wait for it to be made. But beware this first class attention comes at a cost! You can expect a quality bespoke dress to come in at the region of £2000 to £6000. This may immediately appear to be a lot of money, but for some brides, the success of their wedding hinges on the success of the dress! Be prepared for extensive measurements and fittings, as most bespoke designers will want each dress to be perfect- so make sure the company is based relatively close. Firstly, you need to think about the material. Is it clingy and unflattering or does it give you a stunning figure by skimming over all of the lumpy bits? Once you have decide on the material you need to make sure that the material can be sourced in the colour which you want. Choosing the colour of your wedding dress should not be made in haste. A good colour choice will lift your skin tone and make you glow, however a poor colour choice can do quite the opposite and you end up looking ill and pale in all your photos. Next you need to decide on the shape of your dress. The neckline is important to consider as a lot of photos will be just your top half. Does it enhance your bust or simply draw attention to a lack of? Does it flatter the shape of your shoulders and neck? Does it work with the jewellery you want to wear? Next you need to look at the skirt shape and length. The length is very much down to personal taste. If you are short then a short skirt may give you extra length, but if you are tall, a long dress will make the most of that elegant figure. The shape of the skirt is probably one of the most tricky things to perfect. Ideally you want your dress that will fall effortlessly to the floor, giving the illusion of perfect legs and hips.
