Botley Park is part of the popular Macdonald Hotel group and is located just outside Southampton, making it a great location for a hen weekend or pre wedding spa day.
The spa is located within the the leisure club area of the hotel, so benefits from being close to the gym and swimming pool. Adjacent to the spa entrance it has its own spa lounge, where there is unlimited fruit/herbal teas, ice water and cordial. The spa lounge has plenty of tables and chairs to have lunch at as well as relaxation chairs, allowing larger groups to relax together.
Within the subtly illuminated pool area, you will find a sauna and steam room and plenty of recliners to relax on. The pool is 15m in length, so only really suitable for a slow, relaxed swim.
The spa uses Elemis products and has a really wide range of treatments available, with plenty of offers available for spa days and breaks. There is a manicure room and four treatment rooms, one of which is a double, so perfect for couples.
We experienced two treatments during the day, the first being the hot Lava Shell back massage. This deep tissue massage uses heated lava shells, with the radiating heat that they produce relieving tension and leaving you feeling stress free. The second treatment was the Botley Elemis taster facial which lasted 30 minutes and also included an amazing head massage, that is guaranteed to make you drop off!
With the great location of this venue and spa breaks available it makes it perfect for hen groups, making the most of the spa during the day and the Southampton nightlife at night!
