At Longleat House, you may hold your ceremony in one of 4 spectacular rooms which are all licensed for Civil Ceremonies. These rooms vary in size which means that Longleat can cater for both initmate wedding celebrations or more formal occasions.

Join your guests in the formal gardens for the most elegant of drinks reception, with the stunning backdrop of Longleat House. For a more formal event enjoy your wedding celebrations within the magnificent Elizabethan stately surroundings of the Great Hall or the intimate Green Library.

For larger weddings a marquee site is available on the manicured lawns alongside the lake. Today with its award-winning attractions, world famous Safari Park and Elizabethan stately home Longleat provides the perfect backdrop for your very own ‘dream wedding’.

The Great Hall - a grand Elizabethan hall for an important moment in your life. This vast high-ceilinged room with ancient wooden walls and immense stone fireplaces is simply awe-inspiring. Can cater for 130 guests.

The Orangery - an airy elegant setting for your ceremony. This room packed with original features and surrounded by romantic rose gardens, which are great for celebrating the signing of the register with your first glass of Champagne as husband and wife. Can cater for 100 guests.

The Green Library - luxurious and intimate setting for a traditional wedding. Surrounded by rich wooden walls and floor-to-ceiling book cabinets, and with the ceremony lit by an eye-catching chandelier. Can cater for 60 guests.

Lord Bath’s Banqueting Suite - situated in Lord Bath’s private apartments. These quirky rooms make a striking setting for your wedding and a talking point for guests. The most unusual wedding venue in a stately home full of unusual wedding venues! Can cater for the more initimare wedding of 50 guests.

Every wedding, small or large, is bespoke – so you can enjoy all the great traditions and add your own special touches. Longleat House makes a stunning setting for summer weddings and is magical for winter weddings too. The ornate gardens, elegant Orangery and regal rooms make wonderful backdrops for photographs. Make sure you get that iconic shot on the front steps.

Longleat House caters for a wide range of multi-faith receptions. For example, Longleat House partners Asian and Jewish event specialists, who help plan every aspect of your day with panache and style.

The Great Hall, Orangery, Green Library and Lord Bath's Banqueting Suite are all available for your wedding reception. A marquee is also available for larger weddings - why not have a drinks reception in one of the beautiful rooms inside the venue and then continue your celebrations in a stylish marquee in idyllic grounds. The marquee caters for unlimited guests.

In addition to the House itself, Longleat Enterprises Ltd. has recently acquired two luxury country house hotels; The Bishopstrow House and Spa Hotel in Warminster and Homewood Park Hotel & Spa in Hinton Charterhouse, near Bath.
