A Modern, Industrial Styled Shoot with a Botanical Twist

We are thrilled to share this stunning styled shoot shot by Annabel Farley! Combining gorgeous natural scenery with a fun industry style, this shoot embraces many stylish wedding trends. So, perfect for fashion-forward wedding inspiration! 

Shot in spring, this styled shoot took place at the Barn at Avington, an industrial-style DIY barn in Hampshire.  The venue is a blank canvas so couples can really put their own stamp on.  The shoot embraces an industrial glam look. The decoration is on-trend with muted pastels, copper, geometrics, marble, and botanicals.  There are also fun elements such as striking makeup featuring Pantone's colour of the year, Classic Blue and a unique photo booth! The shoot has an overall minimalist and modern feel, keeping it very on-trend.

Contrastingly to the industrial minimalism, the shoot is also soaked in nature. This is inspired by the beautiful Hampshire countryside surrounding the Barn. Among the trees and bluebells, Annabel was able to capture the streaming sunlight and delicate colours. This perfectly showcases the beautiful, flowing dress collection. The shoot featuring several bridal outfits, such as a fashionable two-piece. Effortless hair and natural makeup was also perfectly suited the natural styling. A touch of luxury elevated the look by using elements of gold, marble and beading in the headpieces and bridal wear. 

From the foliage moongate to honeycomb backdrop – suppliers worked in collaboration to create a tranquil but striking location. The floral work inside was inspired by the woodland, using mainly foliage.  For example, the incredible archway was made entirely from foliage collected from the farm at Avington. We adore this perfect combination of modern minimalism and woodland whimsy.
