Easter is such a joyful time of year for all ages, which makes it the perfect time to plan a wedding! An Easter theme wedding is ideal for Spring, is easy to put together, and looks amazing in photographs. Here's how to create an Easter wedding theme...

Easter Wedding Theme Ideas Guides for Brides

A wedding is not complete without incredible sweet treats! These Easter cheesecakes make an excellent dessert for your wedding breakfast or a sweet addition to a dessert table. The pastel shades are also bang on trend for a Spring wedding.

Wanted to bring a little Easter to your wedding cake? This two-tiered wedding cake uses stunning iced flowers and patterns, and these beautiful shades of pink really pop.

Having an alternative to the wedding cake for guests can be a great way to bring in other Easter sweet treats you love, such as chocolate nests, Easter eggs and chocolate bunnies.

Another Easter tradition that works brilliantly for weddings is the classic Easter menu for your wedding breakfast. Your guests will love a traditional roast lamb dish with Spring vegetables, and for dessert why not serve up a Simnel cake or hot cross bun bread and butter pudding?

When it comes to flowers for an Easter wedding, the possibilities for Spring blooms are endless! Classic wedding flowers like roses and ranunculus are in season, but around Easter it's always nice to take advantage of the seasonal blooms that just say 'Spring'. Daffodils, muscari, and tulips are always popular, and you can create an amazing scented wedding bouquet with narcissi, lilac and hyacinths.

Blossom is also a fabulous addition to an Easter wedding theme, and can be used to create beautiful centrepieces. We also love potted plants such as miniature daffodils, which can double up as DIY wedding favours too!

Pastel shades not only work beautifully with Spring wedding flowers - they also look amazing on your bridesmaids! Combined with Spring flowers your bridesmaids will look stunning in pastel bridesmaid dresses.

Of course, it wouldn't be an Easter wedding without an Easter egg hunt! This activity goes down particularly well with younger wedding guests.
