Vietnam is becoming renowned for being one of the most beautiful and untouched honeymoon destinations in the world. It’s a honeymoon experience with amazing sights that will make any honeymoon unique. It’s not hard to see why Vietnam is becoming such a popular choice for honeymoon couples.

Rich in history and full of breath-taking culture, with over 2,000 kilometres of coastline facing the clear waters of the South China Sea, Vietnam has dozens of pristine sandy beaches with only a handful been developed for tourism.

Resorts such as Hoi An, Nha Trang and Phan Thiet are home to a number of stylish and well-facilitated hotels perfect for any newly wedded couple, without losing the authenticity of this amazing country.

The most popular tourist times are November to March and also July and August. We recommend those looking for things to be quieter then May, June and September still offer fantastic weather with less ‘hustle and bustle’

Tet is the Vietnamese New Year and this also attracts many people to this beautiful country and despite the huge festival being a nice idea in principle the reality is the whole country is on the move and the prices can rise dramatically during this period.

When deciding to take a trip to Vietnam it’s worth noting a few attractions and places to visit down.

Ha long bay is stunning and mysterious, with thousands of islands rising out of the water, you can take a boat ride into the caves to see the stuff of legends.

Hanoi’s old quarter is another exceptional part of Vietnam that’s over 1000 years old with must visit night markets.

Mekong Delta is the called the ‘rice basket’ due to its rice yield. The Mekong delta has fascinating criss-crossing canals making a very unique travel network.

The Imperial City in Hue is a world heritage site full of history, enabling you to set foot where the famous royals of Vietnam have walked and see some of the most beautiful, ancient buildings in history.

All the big tour operators fly to Vietnam, companies like British Airways, Virgin and Emirates all offer lavish first class accommodation for those really wanting to push the boat out. For those on a tighter budget Air France, KLM and Vietnam Airlines all offer very good economy prices. The Flight time is between 11-12 hours.
