Mozambique, located in south eastern Africa shares borders with Swaziland, South Africa, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania. Mozambique, made up of vast expanses of palm beaches and lagoons, reaches up to 800,000km2 in total. With safe bathing, warm waters and rich wildlife it is an exotic escape after the busy days before your wedding. The hiking is excellent with miles of untouched land to discover.

The further inland you stay the cooler and the higher levels of rainfall you will experience. The most rainfall occurs between January and March, and the highest temperatures are between October and March. The temperature falls between April and September and coastal areas have dry sea breezes.

Medical insurance for people travelling to Mozambique is a necessity. Medical facilities are scarce and a personal first aid kit is strongly advised. It is advised that travellers have vaccinations against Diphtheria, Hepatitis A, Malaria, Rabies, Tetanus, Typhoid and Yellow Fever.

  • Visit Pemba- a vibrant coastal town in a huge bay. It has some wonderful beaches and coral reefs.
  • Mozambique's Beaches- some of the most stunning beaches in the world
  • Go diving- snorkeling with dolphins, rays and dugong (manatee) in the country's crystal-clear Indian Ocean waters.
