Honeymoons in Greece have it all - warm weather, unbelievable beaches, plus amazing historical sites. Crumbling columns or ancient structures can be found in the middle of the sleepiest countryside and the centre of the busiest city.

The countries towns and cities bustle with cool bars and the funkiest of boutiques. However, if it’s the traditional picture postcard Greece you are looking for, then holidays here won’t disappoint. Greece has endless sights on offer to see. Most of the major sights are around the capital, Athens where the Acropolis and Parthenon are situated.

The countryside is diverse; from lush greenery to sun baked rocks, it is consistently beautiful and whichever part of the mainland, of the Peloponnese peninsula or of the plenty of islands you choose, you will have a stunning backdrop to your holiday. With more coastlines that any other country in Europe you will find some truly fantastic beaches.

For those that enjoy good food and drink, there are many wonderful tastes to enjoy here. The feta cheese, olives, dolmades and of course the red grape wine can be found in the more high-end of restaurants in the capital of Athens, to the tiniest tavernas in Rhodes or Crete.

Santorini

Santorini owes its unusual beauty to a series of volcanic eruptions that have given the island a truly unique and impressive coastline. The island's capital, Fira, stands perched on the edge of a spectacular cliff and, with its maze of narrow streets, traditional white-washed houses and magnificent views, is a photographer's paradise. Equally beautiful, and the subject of many Greek postcards and calendars, is Oia, the perfect place from which to witness some of the island's most spectacular sunsets. In contrast, the eastern side of Santorini consists of a long stretch of black volcanic beaches, the most popular of which fringes the lively seaside resort of Kamari, a 20 minute drive from Fira. As many of our properties in Santorini are positioned in tiers clinging to the rocky and steep cliffs, they are not all suitable for guests with walking difficulties.

Ios

Part of the Cycladic Islands, Ios is a small island not far from Santorini. A hotspot for party-goers, it has a lively nightlife and some buzzing beach resorts. There are also some beautiful sites you can visit.

Crete

Crete is an exciting sunshine destination where you will enjoy a warm welcome on the largest and most southerly of the Greek islands, with its stunning beaches, bars and culture.

Corfu

Corfu is a well-established holiday destination, with over one million tourists visiting every year. One of the most beautiful of the Greek islands, it has great nightlife and gorgeous sandy beaches.

Kos

Kos holidays set you on a lovely Grecian island with a fantastic selection of resorts combining natural sights, historic ruins and all-action beach getaways.

Zante

Zante (or Zakynthos) is an island of natural beauty and peaceful hidden coves mixed with all-inclusive party resorts. Ideal for those that love waterskiing, yachting, scuba diving as well.

Petra

For the ideal Greek holiday, visit the charming resort of Petra, where you are sure to experience all of the delights that the beautiful and culturally rich country has to offer.
