1. The 'Beach Ceremony' Dream Wedding Venue

Beach Weddings Bournemouth offers a truly authentic beach wedding, as it is the only place in England and Wales where you can have your legal ceremony right on the beach. Imagine hearing the waves lap near your feet whilst you stand on golden sands to say your vows.

The ceremony is held under a driftwood arch on the award winning West Cliff Beach, while guests are seated in a stunning marquee right on the sand. Your guests won’t have to move more than a few steps to have the sea in every picture!

The marquee can also cater for the reception party, with fish and chips, traditional afternoon tea and a BBQ being firm favourites for this dream seaside venue.

2. The 'Surf' Dream Wedding Venue

For the more adventurous couple, arrive in style by zip wiring from the cliff tops to the private cove of Lusty Glaze Beach, or power through the surf on a jet-ski! This beautiful private cove in Cornwall’s North Coast is surrounded by dramatic cliffs with stunning sunsets and is a keen surfing spot.

The ceremony is held on raised decking overlooking the beach with waves crashing onto the shore.  You and your guests can enjoy your own exclusive beach area, either just a section, or the whole cove and enjoy celebratory drinks with the sand beneath your toes. A beach marquee can hold the reception party with catering by chefs from the fully licensed bar and restaurant.

Sand, surf and sunsets - what’s not to love!

3. The 'Luxurious' Dream Seaside Wedding Venue

Perched on the Cornish cliffs amongst 12 acres of gardens, the elegant Pollurrian Bay Hotel has direct beach access and stunning 180 degree views across Mounts Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.

It’s unique in that it’s one of the very few venues in Cornwall where you can hold an exclusive-use hotel wedding. With 41 bedrooms there’s plenty of room for guests and it’s Ofsted registered creche, cinema room and children’s games room makes it perfect for weddings with children. The decor is modern and luxurious: a dream seaside wedding venue for those wanting to enjoy absolute privacy and stunning surroundings.

4. The 'Quirky' Dream Seaside Wedding Venue

This is a seaside wedding dream for those lusting after an intimate, quirky venue. Licensed for just 25 guests, The West Usk Lighthouse is a real lighthouse, situated near Newport Gwent, overlooking the Usk and Severn Estuaries and the Bristol Channel.

The Ceremony Room has stunning sea views, as do the gardens, but it is the rooftop terrace with it’s hot tub that is the real icing on the cake.  It is a wonderful spot to watch the sun go down, champagne in hand! The quirkiness continues with the Doctor Who Tardis hot tub changing room! Unusual wedge-shaped guest rooms branch off the internal spiral staircase.

Curiosities aside, this venue provides a relaxed and intimate atmosphere for close friends and relatives during your wedding celebrations.

5. The 'Historic' Dream Seaside Wedding Venue

If you want a unique and historical seaside wedding, this could well be ‘the one’. Polhawn Fort is a real Napoleonic fort, complete with cannon, drawbridge and walls eight feet thick! Granite staircases spiral towards huge vaulted ceilings and rows of windows face out to sea.

It was built to discourage Napoleon III from even thinking of invading us. But it’s never seen any action, so you won’t be starting married life on a battleground!

A secluded beach, Polhawn Cove, sits below, with exclusive access. Stunning sea views lies beyond, straight from the pages of an enchanting romantic novel.

You can hold your ceremony in the grand splendour of the fort, or go for a more bohemian vibe in the Summerhouse with its endless coastal views.
