If you are fit you will have better health, you will be less stressed, you will enjoy life so much more. Exercise is an excellent habit to get into, and acting as a stress buster, your marriage will last so much longer. Fitness is not just exercise but it also involves having a healthy diet and drinking lots of water. It is also about discipline and self-motivation. So set yourself a challenge and go for it. If going for a run or working out at the gym sounds like hell to you, there are options. For example, if you enjoy team sports why not join a local club? If you like more gentle exercise why don't you try yoga or Pilates? Finally, the best exercise is hidden exercise. Dance classes such as Zumba are excellent because not only can you enjoy the class but you can also enjoy shedding those pounds.

It is very very common for fitness plans to fail, so do not worry. It is quite probable that if you make some simple changes it will all seem a lot easier. Firstly it is important to set yourself achievable targets and to be honest with yourself about the level of fitness you can reach, and the time you have to spare doing exercise. Don't go all out every day, give yourself rest days and remember to get enough sleep. If you find it is still not working, perhaps you should consider holistic health options.
