With its spectacular setting above Edinburgh, panoramic views and incredible photo opportunities, Edinburgh Castle is an impressive option for a wedding.
The tiny 12th century St Margaret’s Chapel can hold religious wedding ceremonies, with just enough space for 25 guests. The chapel is not only the oldest building in Edinbugh, but is also considered to be the most religious building in Scotland.
For larger religious weddings, or for civil or humanist ceremonies, the castle offers two other rooms; the Queen Anne Room (120-170 guests) and the Gatehouse Suite (40 guests) plus the Jacobite Room for evening receptions.
