With spectacular views over the South Downs, East Sussex National provides the perfect setting for your wedding; enjoying picturesque lakes and striking lawns in front of the clubhouse.
East Sussex National is fully licensed for civil ceremonies and they have two suites which hold a civil wedding and civil partnership licence. The Lynx Suite can seat up to 250 and the Ballroom seats up to 200. For smaller ceremonies rooms can be divided into smaller units, so if you are a smaller group of 25+ options are available. There are a selection of packages available with prices starting at just £95 per head.
Function Suites:
The National Suite (above) is the largest and most spectacular function suite at East Sussex National and can seat up to 300 guests for a formal wedding
breakfast or 400 for a less formal cocktail style reception. The main room has
an amazing vaulted ceiling which incorporates a unique lighting system that can complement the colour scheme of your wedding. It also has a stage, which is great for those who want to have a live band or to house a DJ with a lot of equipment. The National Suite also benefits from its own bar area and outdoor space, allowing you to be self contained throughout the day.
With its panoramic views over the golf courses and the South Downs beyond, this has made the Lynx Roundall (above) the most popular function suite at East Sussex National. It can seat up to 180 for a wedding breakfast and has the provision of its own self-contained bar unit.
The Pavilion Restaurant is an elegant and intimate room with views out to the English countryside, making it an ideal and romantic setting for a wedding breakfast. This room can seat up to 90 for a wedding breakfast, but is only available uintil 6pm.
Situated on the first floor of the clubhouse, the Ballroom also looks over the golf courses and has its own balcony. It is capable of seating up to 120 for a wedding breakfast. The Ballroom can be divided into smaller units for more intimate weddings.
Hunningtons Restaurant, is a great option for smaller weddings preferring a more intimate atmosphere. There is a bar at the entrance for use by your guests meaning everything you require is close at hand. 70 can be accommodated in this room, and the lawns in front of the clubhouse are ideal for a drinks and canapé reception.
Accommodation:
Amazingly, every room at East Sussex National has a view over the golf course and surrounding countryside. The rooms are all very modern and spacious, with suites (above) and family rooms also available. The bedroom suites at East Sussex National not only have fantastic views, but they also have large balconies and outside furniture; ideal for relaxing the morning after your wedding.
Dining:
East Sussex National has an outstanding reputation for its food and has been awarded an AA Rosette for the quality of its catering. They have an extensive menu selector, so can cater for everyone's requirements.
