A fresh colour scheme, inspired by Amanda’s favourite flowers, gave this Wiltshire wedding a real spring in its step.

Amanda and Craig started dating when they were still at school, so it was no surprise when they decided to get married this summer. The couple chose a traditional church ceremony in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Newton Toney, after which guests were invited back to an informal reception in a marquee in Amanda’s parents’ garden.

The colour scheme was easy to choose, laughs Amanda, explaining: ‘My favourite flower is the daisy, and yellow and white, with touches of green, created just the fresh Spring meadow feel that I wanted!’ Stunning yellow bridesmaids’ dresses were found online, with Amanda choosing her own gown from the Alfred Sung collection at bridal boutique Confetti and Lace. The look was perfectly complemented by her skilled hairdressers, who wove delicate daisies into her softly curled blond locks.

Her advice to other brides?‘Don’t be distracted. Keep true to the image of the day you have in your head. Ours turned out exactly as I had imagined it, and we were delighted!’
