On June 22nd, Wales was given the green light for weddings to start going ahead again. After hearing this fantastic news, we reached out to our Welsh wedding venues to find out who is ready to start hosting weddings when approved venues are given the go-ahead. Here we have a collection of wedding venues from across Wales who are ready to hear from you. 

Gileston Manor

Gileston Manor Wales Wedding Venue

Gileston Manor is an elegant Georgian Grade II* listed manor house surrounded by extensive gardens. This venue offers a unique outdoor wedding experience, hosting every moment of your big day on its beautiful grounds. Within the grounds is the beautiful, 18th-century Walled Garden. A picturesque Summer House is available for a civil ceremony. To the front of the Manor are sweeping front lawns and boating lake with incredible views across the Bristol estuary, perfect for a celebrant-led ceremony. For your reception, there is the bespoke lotus marquee, elegant yet function with its chic design. Twinkling with fairy lights and impressive chandeliers, this luxury marquee is a blank canvas where you can create your wedding vision. Nestled in lovely woodland with views of the Jurassic Coast, Gileston Manor is an enchanting wedding venue in Wales. 

Canada Lodge and Lake

Canada Lodge and Lake offers a unique and romantic wedding venue unlike any other in Wales. Situated on the outskirts of Cardiff, this venue is also nestled in the lush green countryside. Canada Lodge boasts breath-taking views across its lake, with two stunning ceremony venues to choose from. Charming and elegant, the Lodge is perfect for both the ceremony and wedding breakfast. Alternatively, Rhodri’s is perfect for a more intimate celebration. Canada Lodge and Lake also boasts a dedicated team of expert planners. Ewenny Priory

Ewenny Priory is a historic fortified Norman Priory in South Wales. Found in the early 12th century, the Priory is remarkably intact and filled with original period features. You can enter the Priory via the main North Gate Tower (Portcullis), arriving at your wedding in style. Available for exclusive use, this gorgeous venue offers a beautiful ceremony in Ewenny Church or a blessing in the Priory grounds. Within the walls of Ewenny Priory, the gardens also provide space for a marquee wedding reception, with magnificent views of the medieval Deer Park. Ewenny Priory is a peaceful and intimate venue that creates a blank canvas onto which you can ‘paint’ your perfect wedding day. 

Cilwendeg Mansion

Cilwendeg Mansion is a private and luxurious stately home in Pembrokeshire. Set in parkland on the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, Cilwendeg is a Grade II Georgian mansion house. The entire mansion house, gardens and staff are available solely for your wedding day. It has been beautifully restored to reflect the grand Edwardian Belle Époque as well as many contemporary features. This includes four large reception and dining areas which all have civil ceremony licences. Cilwendeg Mansion also has 8 en-suite bedrooms, for example a four-bedroom penthouse suite.  The famous terraced lawns are also licenced for civil ceremonies.

The Gwenfrewi Project is a beautiful, historic venue surrounded by stunning scenery and ancient yew trees. Dating back to the Bronze Age, the gorgeous former church is a unique space for your ceremony. The Gwenfrewi Project will be open for small intimate wedding ceremonies. You can have a beautiful, candlelit venue for couples wanting a civil ceremony in a really beautiful space. Of course, this venue can only hold very small intimate weddings. For now, this is just so people can stay safe. However, these weddings can become really special with the beauty of the space. It's not just about number, but an intimate atmosphere of meaning and love.
