On the 29th of June 2020, the government released guidance on small weddings and civil ceremonies. This stated that approved venues would also be allowed to host weddings alongside places of worship and register offices. We've asked venues across England to share their plans to open their doors, for added reassurance for 2020 couples, and to help couples starting to look for a venue.

London
Fulham Palace
Fulham Palace is a stunning, historic wedding venue set within 13 acres of botanical gardens and rolling lawns in the heart of London. We are set to reopen in July hosting small weddings (per the latest government limits). Fulham Palace will also be hosting receptions, dinners and celebrations, following social distancing rules. We have done a lot of work behind the scenes to ensure events are joyful and just as you have imagined while making sure they are safe for all guests and staff.
Tudor Barn Eltham
Tudor Barn Eltham is a unique and unusual wedding venue in Greenwich, South East London. This beautiful, 16th-century building is set in 13 acres of parkland with a medieval moat. We are currently offering weekend and evening, 1-to-1 private viewings for wedding couples providing they are from the same household. We will also be hosting a 15 person ceremony only package available throughout 2020 for £599 including a Prosecco and canapé reception.
Le Gothique
All you need from a wedding venue, Le Gothique is a beautiful venue in South West London. This Grade II listed, fairytale Gothic "castle-like" building is on Wandsworth Common. Le Gothique is reopening on July 4th. Weddings can take place entirely outside (both ceremony and reception) in the unique "secret garden" which is entirely internal to the enchanting Gothic building.
Morden Hall
Surrounded by sweeping National Trust parkland and boasting private gardens bordered by the tranquil River Wandle, Morden Hall feels miles from anywhere. You’ll find a choice of ceremony settings, from the Willow Room sits to the Hawthorn Room. Period features and park views are complemented by a pretty décor and grand fireplaces. We are open for viewings and weddings subject to government guidelines from Tuesday 7th July and are COVID secure.
Lumiere London
Lumiere London is located in the heart of Southwark, South London, offering contemporary spaces to hold your wedding reception. We are planning to open again from 4th July 2020.
Queen's House
Queen’s House is a stylish former royal residence is set in the green and leafy surroundings of Greenwich Park, with spectacular views across the River Thames. While we continue to hear when we can conduct wedding ceremonies and/or receptions, we will be offering venue views as of July with appointments available on 11th and 18th July. The venue will be closed to the public so we can safely conduct these views at good physical distances.
Kensington Palace
Kensington Palace is a breathtaking, luxury wedding venue in West London licensed for civil ceremonies. Being home to British royalty and part of Historic Royal Palaces, this is a highly sought after wedding venue holding ceremonies and receptions. Historic Royal Palaces have begun scheduling site visits at Kensington Palace for couples to view our wedding venue. We have a number of couples looking at 2021 and we plan to start showing them around and planning their day in the next few weeks.
The Trafalgar St James Hotel
The Trafalgar St. James is a luxury five-star hotel located on the edge of London’s iconic Trafalgar Square, with 131 stylish bedrooms and an array of unique wedding spaces. The Rooftop can be hired out exclusively for premiere occasions, with spectacular views of Trafalgar Square. Nestled in the heart of The Trafalgar St. James, Biblio is the ideal space for an intimate wedding ceremony. The Rooftop and Biblio are available for last-minute wedding booking from 1st Sep 2020. Both venues are licensed for civil ceremonies and ideal for small weddings.
South East
The Grange Estate
One of Hampshire’s finest wedding venues, the Grange Estate is set in an idyllic and historical setting on the banks of the Candover Brook. Whilst we have had all of our summer weddings postponed this year, we are poised to help those couples who have been disappointed by other venues and who want to get married this year, to have their wedding. The Grange and Abbotstone Barn are both licenced and offer the opportunity for couples to create their own bespoke wedding for whatever the number of guests they are allowed to include. We have put together small bespoke packages which include a marriage ceremony followed by a meal to include flowers, CCGL and furniture. An all-inclusive, ready to go package, but one which will allow couples to make specific choices so they can have the day they want. Our highly experienced team are excited, ready and waiting to help create whatever wedding is required. We can facilitate a wedding with only a week's notice if required.
Farnham Castle
Overlooking the historic crafting town of Farnham in Surrey and nestled amongst five acres of iconic grounds, Farnham Castle continues its 900-year legacy of hosting superior weddings and events. “We’re excited to open the doors to Farnham Castle for visits and believe that a venue as unique as ours needs to be seen to appreciate the history, setting and versatility we offer”, quotes Francesca Cribb, Farnham Castle’s Head of Marketing. “We also believe that the next few years will be busy within our industry, possibly with different styles of wedding celebrations, but none the less, our popular dates will get booked up fast, so we advise visiting and planning early to avoid disappointment in regards to your ideal date or venue.”
The Copse Country House
The Copse is a stunning country house and secluded gardens set within 22 acres. As we have postponed all our summer weddings to 2021, if anyone would like to escape to our 'bubble' we are taking bookings for weekends and holidays in our house, which accommodates 18 guests. The Copse Country Garden is open now for viewings at weekends. Guests can view the garden wedding spaces which include the ceremony courtyard, the Pavilion overlooking the pond, the night garden and Dance Barn, as well as our lovely setting in a valley of outstanding natural beauty.
Access to the house is currently restricted and will be offered from August 5th. In the interim we have a lovely presentation room in our cottage where you can sit in comfort, with coffee, tea and cakes, and we will take you through the house using our virtual television tour. We still have space for anyone wanting a small (up to 45 guests) wedding in 2020, including Christmas and New Year dates. We have space for smaller weddings in 2021 and are about to open bookings for 2022.
Southend Barns
Southend Barns is full of rustic charm and romantic touches. Set on a working farm in the stunning West Sussex countryside, the converted farm buildings and beautifully landscaped gardens make Southend Barns a wedding venue like no other. Despite these challenging times, we know that life continues and many will still be planning wedding days ready for when this is all over. Now more than ever it’s important to focus on the future. So, here at Southend Barns, we want to do everything we can to help keep wedding plans in motion. We have been running virtual and no contact viewings for the last few months to enable couples to walk through our beautiful barns, explore the gardens, and discover our outdoor ceremony area and bridal suite. We have recently started offering socially distanced viewings too, which have been very popular.
Bury Manor Barn
Originally built in the 1500s, this is a beautiful venue steeped in history and set in 40 acres, with views over the River Arun. We are now open for venue viewings for prospective couples, small weddings (up to 15 people) can take place at Bury Manor Barn from the 4th of July. We are awaiting government guidelines for larger weddings - as soon as this is possible, we will accommodate this. Also, we are offering reduced midweek dates for couples who have had their wedding cancelled, but would still like to marry in 2020.
Ham Polo Club
Located only 8 miles from Hyde Park, Ham Polo Club is the last remaining polo club in London. Founded in 1926, HPC has an established reputation now over 90 yrs old. Known for it's grounds and Clubhouse, a colonial style pavilion. Set in 23 acres of Surrey countryside this is a romantic and intimate wedding venue. We have reopened and are open for site visits, with the view to do weddings from August onwards. We are offering 25% Room Hire for any wedding bookings for 2020 to help those who have had to move but would still like to get married this year. Also, we are offering one free date change if their wedding is affected by COVID-19 within 12 months of the original booking.
Villiers Hotel
A 49 bedroom hotel located centrally in the historic market town of Buckingham. Villiers is the alternative venue, full of elegance and stylish charm. We are already doing site visits and can hold weddings from 4th July onwards.
Gildings Barns
We fully appreciate just how important it is for your wedding day to be wonderful in every respect; relaxed, romantic, and with every moment savoured by yourself and all your guests. We believe Gildings Barns provide the perfect setting for your vital day and we are committed to doing our utmost to help ensure everything will be perfect. There are three main structures at Gildings; the Gildings Barn, the Threshing Barn, and the Side Barn. These beautiful oak-framed structures reveal themselves in intriguing stages, eventually leading out to the expansive lawn, the Granary, and adjoining open farmland.
Bearwood Lakes Golf Club
Bearwood Lakes Golf Club is a wedding venue on the outskirts of Wokingham. It is important to find the right venue for your wedding - here at Bearwood Lakes, we offer a personal service, in luxurious facilities surrounded by our beautiful golf course and lakes. The golf course is open and we can accommodate socially distanced tours of the lounge and restaurant area prior to the clubhouse opening on 4th July.
Cotswolds Hotel and Spa
Cotswolds Club provides a unique and attractive location for the perfect wedding. Our grounds set in the idyllic countryside in the Gateway to the Cotswolds offers a stunning backdrop against which to capture beautiful memories of your very special day. We are accepting show round bookings from the 7th July. On arrival please come to the main entrance/hotel reception and please respect the 1 meter or more social distancing guidelines. We are only accepting a maximum of two people per show round. Hand sanitizer will be available. Please bear in mind that we would NOT be able to accept cash for deposit payments. Your £1000 non-refundable deposit can be paid via BACS transfer if you were looking to secure your wedding date.
The Sussex Barn
The Sussex Barn, Hellingly is a beautiful 400-year-old oak framed barn situated on a working farm in the parish of Hellingly. The Sussex Barn offers you the flexibility to create an individual wedding day unique to you. You have exclusive access to the barn and the courtyard one day before your wedding day and the day after allowing you plenty of time to create your perfect setting.
Mapperton Manor House
Nestled in the rolling hills near Beaminster, venue hire at Mapperton includes a range of outdoor and indoor ceremony locations, the Orangery for your drinks reception, Italianate gardens, rustic barn, furniture, marquee and couple accommodation. Mapperton Weddings are delighted to be offering our popular show rounds again, by appointment only. As you would expect, we have procedures in place to ensure all our visits are COVID secure. If you’re not able to travel, you can still secure your date and enjoy a personal video tour or zoom meetup from the comfort of your own sofa. Pekes Manor Estate
Peaceful, yet quite close to London, this listed Manor House and its 5 other houses are set within extensive gardens & grounds for stunning photo opportunities. Pekes Manor is a private estate that has the space, the charm, and the facilities for you to create your own perfect country wedding. Pekes will be opening for Weddings and Marry-Stay and Celebrate events on July 4th 2020, with some availability in 2021, and bookings being discussed and taken for 2023 and 2024. Viewings are by appointment only.
Best Western Royal Beach Hotel
Best Western Royal Beach Hotel has been a popular wedding venue in Portsmouth for almost 150 years. Many happy couples have chosen this wonderful Victorian seafront hotel for their special day. Enjoying panoramic views over the Solent, this historic hotel offers five superb suites. We are able to hold ceremonies for up to 15 people max. However, wedding reception meals and evening functions will not be possible.
Sudbury House Hotel
Nestling on the edge of the Cotswolds, Sudbury House is a beautiful Georgian house. It offers traditional comforts with contemporary facilities, with 9 acres of beautiful grounds. An award-winning team of chefs will provide you with bespoke menus to suit all tastes and budgets.
The Pavilion At Lane End
Set in 26 acres of landscaped grounds with stunning views across the Chilterns, this is a tranquil and romantic venue. Licensed for outdoor civil ceremonies, the Garden Gazebo offers an idyllic setting, with views over the surrounding countryside. Indoor ceremonies can be held in either The Lodge or The Pavilion Room. We are now open for viewings and weddings from August, subject to government guidance.
Highfield Park
Steeped in history, the attractive architecture of Highfield Park dates from the Queen Anne and Georgian period. At the heart of the main house is a stunning oval staircase, which provides a perfect setting for family or group photographs. Having undergone extensive refurbishment Highfield Park offers the perfect setting for Civil Ceremonies as well as a beautifully decorated restaurant for your Wedding Breakfast and reception celebrations. Additionally, the terrace and grounds provide the perfect location for you to welcome your guests. Highfield Park are delighted to announce that virtual showrounds are available now. We will be re-open for in-person showrounds from the 6th July 2020.
Kevington Hall
Kevington Hall is a beautiful, Georgian private house on the outskirts of London. Nestled in 200 acres of magnificent parklands, this is a romantic, idyllic wedding venue.
The Roseate Reading
Originally built in 1911, this magnificently restored Edwardian listed mansion offers exclusive accommodation, beautiful event rooms, fine cuisine and top class service in a central location. We are planning to open on the 4th July and welcome weddings and events following the guidelines.
Leaf Hotel Dover
Set in a quiet garden location alongside the A2, between Dover and Canterbury. As one of the largest venues in Kent and holding a Civil Ceremony Wedding License, the Leaf Hotel Dover’s popular gazebo wedding offers a supreme outdoor setting for the perfect ceremony. The Grade II listed mansion house has 83 acres which provide a perfect backdrop for any type of event with breathtaking views across beautiful countryside. Best Western Clifton Hotel
Best Western Clifton Hotel is a Victorian venue located on the famous Leas in Folkestone. Ideal for small intimate wedding celebrations where one can design their own wedding menu and use the private Gardens and The Leas for those special wedding photos.
Pangdean Old Barn
Pangdean offers an intimate and atmospheric function venue set against the backdrop of the rolling South Downs. At the heart of our working farm lies our magnificent oak-framed Sussex barn. Built in 1720, the Old Barn has been lovingly restored to offer a unique wedding or function venue that is exclusively yours for the day. We are open for enquiries and show rounds and would be delighted to hear from you. We are ready to hold small weddings as soon as the Government announces we have the go-ahead and have put together a special package for weddings up to 15 guests
Gate Street Barn
Gate Street Barn is a stunning wedding venue in Bramley, Surrey, just 5 miles south of Guildford. These restored barns are approached along country lanes through bluebell woods, at the heart of a family-owned estate. We are open for viewings and will be holding events in accordance with government guidelines as soon as possible. We also have significant outside space with multiple outdoor ceremony options.
Saltcote Place
Saltcote Place offers magical far-reaching views, formal gardens, and exclusive use. We give you the time and tools needed to create something magical. Saltcote Place is an East Sussex Wedding venue with options for indoor or outdoor wedding celebrations.
Project B
We are an award-winning venue, housed in a beautiful grade II listed building, with the capacity to host up to 300 guests over two floors, partying until 4 am! With our industrial-luxe styling, we like to think we offer two cool and unique spaces suitable for every occasion. This, coupled with our fantastic and experienced events team, ensures that we remain committed to offering the perfect customer experience every time. We are open for viewings as of 4th July 2020.
Great Fosters
Great Fosters is a truly romantic setting for your wedding in Egham, Surrey. Set in 50 acres of picturesque gardens, Great Fosters is also licensed to hold civil ceremonies both indoors and outside. We are pleased that we will be opening our hotel doors again on the 4th July. Also, we are currently still providing quotes, virtual tours and personal face-to-face show rounds and taking bookings for 2021 onwards.
Bromley Court Hotel
Situated between the bright lights of London and the tranquil Kentish countryside, The Bromley Court Hotel is the ideal venue. Where modern luxury seamlessly blends with 200 years of historical grandeur, with gorgeous gardens & bedrooms. We will be reopening on Monday 6th July for just bedrooms and a grab & go breakfast. However, we can hold show around meetings.
Nether Winchendon House
Nether Winchendon House & Barn, Buckinghamshire is a truly romantic country wedding venue. You will have Exclusive Use of the romantic gardens & grounds for fabulous Wedding photos. We are currently allowing one couple per day to visit, without meeting anyone here. Once an appointment has been made we send over a sheet for you to follow that will lead you around the gardens and grounds of Nether Winchendon House and up to The Carriage Barn. We would need you to wear gloves and keep touching of handles (etc.) to a minimum.
Foxhills Club & Resort
Nestled deep within acres of Surrey's best countryside, choose from our 19th Century Manor or contemporary Clubhouse to hold your wedding. Enjoy stunning backdrops for arrival drinks and photos on our Manor Lawn or Clubhouse Terrace. If you are looking to hold a Ceremony our outdoor Gazebo or period Library make the perfect location. Foxhills will be reopening on Monday 6 July for bookings and showrounds.
Hampton Court House

The BarnYard
At The BarnYard we are licensed to hold indoor and outdoor ceremonies.The luxurious Marquee is bathed in natural light and surrounded by orchards and beautiful landscaping, providing a serene ambience. Outdoor ceremonies can be held in our stunning Breezehouse, with views across 150 acres of orchards, paddocks and woodland. Relax and mingle on the beautiful lawn or meander over a romantic wooden bridge built over a lily pond, home to exotic koi carp, set amongst stunning landscaping.
Bilsington Festival Fields
Set within the stunning 500 Acre Bilsington Priory Estate the Festival Fields offer multiple options for your big day. With 3 placement locations to choose from for your structure you really can pick the best setting for you. From sweeping towards the Romney Marsh, a setback isolated country feel or a priory backdrop, this venue offers it all. Bilsington Festival Fields will be open to viewings from early July. As we are a field-based venue social distancing can be easily achieved whilst showing you around.

We are happy to tailor the viewings to what our couples are comfortable with, including wearing masks if requested and providing hand sanitizer at the beginning and end of the viewing. This magnificent house with a thousand years of history is one of the most sought after wedding venues in the county with nearly 20 years’ experience in delivering exclusive weddings. Set in 300 acres of privately-owned grounds, approached via the tree-lined driveway, Hampden House is offered to you exclusively for your wedding day. We are open for viewings by appointment from Monday 6th July 2020
Furtho Manor Farm
Furtho Manor Farm offers a rural wedding venue with the use of a barn to hold your wedding reception. We are licenced by Northamptonshire County Council to hold both marriage and civil ceremonies. You can have the choice of three spaces to hold the ceremony; the barn, a gazebo or a ceremony room opposite the house. The venue at Furtho Manor Farm is now open for viewings and we will be open for small ceremonies from the 4th July. We just have a few bookings for small ceremonies in July and August so do get in touch if you would like to get married with just a ceremony in these months.
Avington Park

Sprivers Mansion
Sprivers Mansion is a beautiful grade II listed Georgian country house Kent wedding venue tucked away in 100 acres of National Trust parkland at the end of a long sweeping driveway. Nestled deep in the heart of the Kent countryside, this secluded and private venue with a luxury bridal suite and exclusive-use accommodation for your family and friends, offers you the perfect year-round setting for your civil ceremony and wedding celebrations. Hythe Imperial Hotel
The Hythe Imperial is a beautiful, classically styled hotel right on the beautiful Kent seafront and is one of the largest venues in the county. The location itself is romantic, and the building is spectacular – elegantly styled suites, including the Imperial Ballroom with its views over the English channel, contemporary décor and high ceilings, make it a venue perfectly suited to creating life-long memories. Our venue is now taking bookings for venue show arounds. Social distancing guidelines will be adhered to and your temperature will be taken on arrival. We will also be hosting a wedding venue showcase with our hand-picked suppliers on the 5th of July 2020. This event is by appointment only.
Mercure Thame Lambert Hotel
Situated at the foot of the Chiltern Hills, an area of outstanding natural beauty, The Lambert Hotel is a perfect venue for your wedding and offers exceptional value for money. Pennyhill Park
Hidden seductively in beautiful woodland and parkland, Pennyhill Park is just 45 minutes from London. It's a delicately ivy-clad, 19th-century Mansion House surrounded by elegant garden terraces, formal lawns and flower beds. We are now open for Wedding Showrounds but with of course lots of social distancing measures in place to keep both our couples and team safe! We are also doing everything we can to make sure the magic of looking around and exploring wedding venues is still in place as it should still be a special and exciting times for couples!
Lainston House
Just two miles north-west of Winchester, Lainston House is a breathtakingly beautiful 17th Century country house nestling in 63 acres of stunning Hampshire countryside. Delicate archways and loggias frame the picture perfect entrance and a small amble reveals a beautiful 12th century chapel ruin. With the mile-long avenue of lime trees as a backdrop there are stunning photo opportunities all year round.
We are now open for Wedding Showrounds social distancing measures in place to keep both you and our team safe! We are also doing everything we can to make sure choosing your wedding venue is an exciting and enjoyable experience under the current circumstances.
South Lodge
In the heart of the dramatic Sussex Downs, South Lodge is the perfect venue for all seasons. In spring we welcome a striking display of rhododendrons. Our outdoor wedding pavilion offers the unique opportunity to marry with a panoramic view of the Downs in summer. Set within the 93 acres of parkland, plenty of vibrant colours in the autumn set a theme for your wedding day, and candlelit ceremonies and roaring log fires add to the atmosphere of romance when there is a chill in the winter air.
We are now open for Wedding Showrounds but social distancing measures will be in place to keep everyone safe! We are doing everything we can to ensure this experience is enjoyable and the current circumstances don't deter from the magic of choosing your wedding venue.
Royal Berkshire

Oatlands Park Hotel
Oatlands Park Hotel is a stunning Grade II listed historic wedding venue in Weybridge, Surrey. Set within 10 acres of private grounds the hotel offers a magical setting for your wedding celebrations. Oatlands Park Hotel offers two fantastic event spaces for your wedding day. Our Mulberry is a truly stunning room and offers a huge amount of light from the enormous windows, access to the lawns and terrace, neutral decor and high ceilings. Our York Suite is available for dry hire for larger ceremonies and receptions and benefits from its own private kitchen.
Oatlands Park Hotel is reopening on 6th July and our wedding coordinator will be offering socially distanced showrounds in our large meeting rooms, which include The York Suite and The Mulberry. Hand sanitiser is available and our team will be wearing a face shield and gloves - so that you can still see their friendly faces! We ask that guests wear a face covering and gloves too, this is not mandatory but they are available at reception.
Milton Hill House
Milton Hill House is a charming Georgian Mansion House, beautifully set in 22 tranquil acres of peaceful parkland. And once you step onto the terrace overlooking the magnificent grounds, you'll know, intuitively, that you've found the perfect venue for your special day. Having recently completed a multi million refurbishment Milton Hill House is ideal for intimate or large weddings and will only cater for one wedding on any given day ensuring you of our undivided attention.
Milton Hill House will be available for viewings from the 4th July and open for weddings from the 17th July. The venue is one of the few in Oxfordshire with a licence to host outdoor weddings, and will be holding a Wedding Fayre on 13th September.
Weddings In The Wood
Weddings In The Wood is a magical venue set within the woodland wonderland of the New Forest National Park, with an expanse of green lawns and woodland areas. Where more magical than our Carpenter’s Barn, hidden amongst the trees of a private woodland estate, to host a woodland wedding?Oak beams span the roof and the interior decoration is neutral, making it a perfect canvas for you to decorate. Fabulously private and secluded, you will enjoy exclusive use of the venue and we will do everything we can to make sure your special day goes without a hitch and is memorable for all the right reasons!
South West
The Matara Centre
The Matara Centre is truly unique. Set in the Cotswolds, on 28 acres, this Regency home boasts an Asian inspired Cloistered Courtyard! We are open for visits for couples only or up to 5 people living in the same household. Once restrictions ease, we will be able to have couples bring friends and extended family members to visits. As soon as we are allowed we are able to host intimate weddings and have created a special package for this. We are taking all measures recommended to keep everyone safe and look forward to hosting weddings again.
Pentillie Castle
While only 20 minutes from Plymouth, Pentillie Castle offers a truly romantic, secluded and exclusive setting for your wedding ceremony and reception. The spectacular Cornish location, extensive mature gardens, over 300 years of history and those dreamy views across the River Tamar provide memorable photo opportunities. Personal virtual viewings are currently already going ahead. There is a long list of in-person viewings eagerly waiting for the go-ahead from 4th July onwards. Since 1514, England’s most famous kings and queens – from Henry VIII and his six wives, to William III and Mary II – have amazed their guests with the romance and spectacle of Hampton Court. Now you can do the same. Historic Royal Palaces has begun scheduling site visits at Hampton Court Palace for couple to view our wedding venues. We have a number of couples looking at 2021 and we plan to start showing them around and planning their day in the next few weeks.
Hendra Barns
Our exclusive lakeside setting is unique in Cornwall with acres of rural charm in which to make your vows, and versatile entertaining spaces in which to celebrate with your guests, providing memories to last a lifetime. Weddings at Hendra Barns are only available on an exclusive basis. Your private celebration can be designed entirely your way, and extended to four days, or more, with accommodation for twenty between three premium properties. We are hoping to hold outdoor ceremonies soon!
Burley Fields Lake
Brand spanking new 'Burley Field’s Lake' is an eco wedding venue. Launched by Jacks Kitchen for 2021 for only 9 couples a year up to 180 guests between May and August. Surrounded by woodlands where you can watch the family of deers whilst you celebrate. We only hold 9 exclusive weddings a year for 9 exclusive couples who care as much about the environment as we all do. To look after our Deer herd we do not use glass on site, we only use plant-based biodegradable glasses. We compost any food waste that hasn't already been eaten by our piggies! All our meat used on site is from our farm, there are zero air miles here! We are careful to source produce from local producers and growers and we ensure our suppliers share our ethos.
Wrag Barn Golf Club
Wrag Barn Golf & Country Club offer the complete reception service, with the highest standard of catering. Our team's dedication encompasses all the experience, expertise and attention to details so that it only remains for you to relax and enjoy the day. Our two Suites - The Banbury and The Bellingham are sited on the first floor of an imposing Clubhouse. Both have access to a private balcony overlooking the 18th green offering panoramic views across the Wiltshire countryside. Wrag Barn's picturesque gardens are an ideal backdrop to any occasion. We are open for viewings now, we are doing our first wedding for 30 (registrar permitting) on the 12th July. We can now do outside Blessings in our Wedding Garden.

Followed by drinks in the stunning garden overlooking the duck pond and open fields or in the winter drinks are served in the Lower Barn with its vaulted ceiling and Oak floors. We are open for viewings and ready to open for weddings as soon as the Government allows us to.

As Micro Weddings specialists, our weddings for up to 22 people will be running from this date in line with the government guidelines for small weddings now being able to take place for up to 15 people.

Haselbury Mill
Haselbury Mill is a unique Somerset wedding venue, set in 14 acres of beautiful countryside by a tranquil lakeside location, river and gardens and often described as “probably the most beautiful setting in the South West of England.” They hold a civil ceremony licence enabling you to be married in the spectacular lakeside room overlooking the nearby lake, or alternatively within the stunning structure of the Great Tithe Barn which has its very own grounds and lake. Alexandra House
Set in 20 acres of beautiful landscaped gardens. Alexandra House is one of Wiltshire finest wedding venues. With a license for ceremonies, plenty of guest accommodation and a dedicated wedding team, we aim to make your wedding day perfect. Alexandra House will be available for viewings from the 4th July and be open for weddings from the 27th August. The venue will be hosting a Wedding Fayre on the 25th October.

Crockwell Farm
Situated in idyllic rural surroundings, Crockwell Farm has been family owned and managed since 2002. The venue consists of the oak beamed vaulted ceremony barn, a newly renovated rustic bar area and fully insulated permanent marquees with beautiful gardens as well as nine spacious bedrooms within the farm cottages.
Pheasantry Brewery
The Pheasantry Brewery is a modern, yet traditional micro-brewery, licensed for civil ceremonies and holds wedding receptions in East Markham, available for hire, and can accommodate a marquee on the grounds.
The Barns at Hunsbury Hill
A beautiful 18th Century setting overlooking the picturesque Nene Valley, the Barns at Hunsbury Hill is a rustic and charming barn for you to tailor your wedding to your exact dreams! We are pleased to announce that we are now offering socially distanced viewings at The Barns. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have had to implement some safety measures in order to be able to hold viewings of the venue. We will therefore kindly be asking all our customers to please adhere to the below when entering our venue for an appointment. This is for your own safety and for the safety of our staff members. We would ask that if you or any of your household are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 then please do not attend your appointment. Simply let us know and we will be more than happy to reschedule your appointment with us.
We kindly ask that only the couple attends the appointment, so no more than two people per appointment please, with the exception of infants. We would be happy for you to take photos and videos at the end of your appointment to share with your friends and family. Children that are not in a pushchair or car seat cannot attend viewings of the venue at this time. Please refrain from touching any items when viewing the venue, doors will be opened for you and social distancing rules will apply. Hand washing facilities and hand sanitiser will be available for you to use on arrival and prior to leaving the venue. We will be allowing extra time between appointments in order for us to sanitise all contact areas of the venue. We also have offers available for Winter Weddings 2021 and Mid Week Weddings 2021.
Kelmarsh Hall
Kelmarsh Hall is a Grade I listed country house set in romantic gardens and parkland. Couples can exchange their vows in the Saloon, which boasts stunning views of the surrounding countryside, before moving into the Ballroom for the wedding breakfast and evening entertainment. For more intimate celebrations, our restored Orangery can hold 40 for the ceremony, in this bright and welcoming space overlooking the rolling parkland and Kelmarsh Church.

Sedgebrook Hall
Located in the charming village of Chapel Brampton in the heart of the beautiful Northamptonshire countryside, Sedgebrook Hall is set in 13 acres of picturesque gardens. The venue seamlessly blends Victorian heritage with contemporary style and features the original Victorian manor house providing a beautiful backdrop for your special day. Our Victorian manor house and landscaped gardens offer charm and character, both inside and out.
Sedgebrook Hall will be conducting venue viewings from the 13th July, with evening appointments available on Thursday 16th July. The venue will be open for weddings from 27th August. The venue’s contemporary Oak Room has recently undergone a full refurbishment and can hold ceremonies for up to 200 guests.
Eastwood Hall
Eastwood Hall located in Nottingham offers a wonderful backdrop for your wedding day, From our elegant rooms in the manor house to our modern banqueting suites, we offer complete flexibility for up to 280 guests. Eastwood Hall will be open and available for viewings from the 13th July, giving couples the opportunity to view the recently refurbished Chatterley Suite that can host up to 120 guests with a private patio overlooking the grounds.

Alcott Weddings
Alcott Weddings is an outdoor venue set within 60 acres of Worcestershire countryside. We offer a variety of structures such as marquees, tipis & yurts and offer accommodation including a Bed & Breakfast, a Bridal Suite, Camping & Glamping.
Our 2021 diary is almost full, but we still have a few reaming dates including some Saturdays available. Please check your preferred date in the calendar app at the bottom of every page on our website. We are also running special offers with Fews Marquees and Covered By Canvas, to help out those that have had their weddings cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19. We are also starting to take bookings for 2022 so please get in touch if you are interested.

Manor Hill House
Manor Hill House is a contemporary, exclusive use venue set in landscaped gardens surrounded by beautiful Worcestershire countryside. As an exclusive use privately owned venue with lots of space indoors within the house, in our marquee adjoining the house, our barns and our gardens, we have lots of flexibility in how we can run events and keep a large number of guests safe. We are currently open for socially distanced viewings, we have a full risk assessment completed to ensure safety for guests and staff during show round appointments. All of our 2020 weddings have back-up dates for 2021. Until we can be sure it is safe to host weddings, we are postponing dates.
Barnutopia
Set in a stunning rural location with breath-taking views in every direction, Barnutopia’s glamping village, licensed wedding barn, outdoor space and amenities are perfect for unique weddings and receptions. This is a fabulous country venue with all the conveniences you need for the perfect rustic wedding. We will open from 4 July and we have availability for all weekends in July. Currently, we are almost fully booked in August.
Hawkstone Hall
Hawkstone Hall is a stunning wedding venue with beautiful grounds in Shropshire. Each of the spaces at Hawkstone Hall offer a completely unique experience for you and your guests to enjoy. From the intricately detailed ceiling of the Ballroom and the huge arched windows of The Saloon. Redhouse Barn is uniquely beautiful, providing a mix of contemporary style with traditional values set in 5 acres of beautiful Worcestershire countryside. We hope to be open for viewings in September 2020 for new bookings in 2022/2023. New updates for couples will include a gorgeous refurbished Bridal Changing Room and new Oak Pergola for outdoor ceremonies.
East Of England
That Amazing Place
Nestled in the Essex countryside, That Amazing Place is one of only a handful of country houses in England to offer exclusive use of the venue for your wedding day. We are now open for viewings and are conducting these in a socially distanced manner. These are limited to just the wedding couple, so no additional family or friends, with just one member of the venue present. All quotes are submitted prior to the viewing to ensure that the venue meets the couple's requirements. This also helps keep the appointment time to a minimum to support social distancing. Weather permitting, all after show round meetings/discussions take place outside. We will also be opening our doors for weddings as soon as we are able, with our first weddings scheduled for August, guidelines permitting.
Vaulty Manor
Vaulty Manor is a countryside wedding venue in Maldon featuring a gorgeous converted historic wedding barn. We are currently open for social distancing viewings and following the guidelines very closely. When it is confirmed that we can safely hold weddings, we will certainly look forward to welcoming back our couples to celebrate their Wedding day. We are following government guidelines very strictly but can't wait to welcome couples back into the venue.
Henry Moore Studios
This is a unique opportunity to get married amongst stunning sculptures and tapestries by world famous artist, Henry Moore. Our rustic barn is set in 72 acres of rolling grounds in Perry Green, giving you the chance to have a stunning countryside wedding, less than half an hour from central London. We open on the 4th of July and we are offering viewings from this weekend onwards. We offer ceremony only as one of our packages.
Copdock Hall
Nestled in the stunning Suffolk countryside, Copdock Hall is a beautiful Tudor barn with the ‘wow’ factor. The venue is surrounded by beautiful rolling fields, its very own vineyard, and the charming adjoining 15th-century parish church. Viewings can now be made by appointment, with couples only initially. These will be staggered and follow social distancing advice. Handwashing facilities or hand sanitiser will be available. Wedding ceremonies will resume from July 4th with outdoor ceremonies or indoor ceremonies for up to 15 people. Also, bookings are now open for 2021, 2022 and beyond!
Aubrey Park Hotel
Situated in leafy Hertfordshire, our quiet woodland backdrop of 9 acres of rolling English countryside sets the scene for a stay that's well and truly relaxing. Lanwades Hall sits proudly at the end of a sweeping tree-lined driveway complete with incredible wrought-iron gates that are flanked by two mirrored gatehouses, the Hall gives you a fabulous chance to really make an entrance! This could be in a wonderful vintage car or even traditional horse and carriage. Inside the hall are four staterooms licenced for civil ceremonies, you will have exclusive hire of all of our rooms, allowing you to run your day exactly as you like. In addition, you and your guests can enjoy the Sunken Garden, the Terrace, the orchard and extensive lawns around the Hall.

All Manor of Events in Henley, near Ipswich, is the perfect venue with high-quality facilities. Our rural location ensures views of the beautiful Suffolk countryside but also offers flexibility not found at some venues. Our choice of 4 unique ceremony rooms means you are able to tailor your day to fit your requirements and tastes. We are conducting zoom showrounds already. We will be conducting face to face showrounds from July, and hope to resume weddings from September.
Smeetham Hall Barn
This 16th Century converted barn is a truly amazing wedding venue, situated on the Essex/Suffolk border. The barn has been beautifully converted into the most stunning of venues for civil ceremonies. Privately owned, there is no corkage charge and you have access from the day before the wedding.
Mannington Gardens
Dating back to the 15th century, Mannington Gardens provide superb surroundings with many different combinations possible for your celebration. There is ample room for larger marquees on the lawns opposite the Hall and tearoom. For smaller parties use of the tearoom and alternative sites for small marquees/party tents can be arranged. We are now open for viewings by appointment.
Rivenhall Oaks Golf Centre
Rivenhall Oaks Pavilion is a bespoke wedding venue set in the beautiful grounds of our golf course. The tranquil space is family owned & provides a tailor-made service for a unique day. Our event staff are dedicated to making your day perfect. We are reopening on the 4th of July 2020. Viewings will be available through an appointment system.
The Compasses at Pattiswick
The Compasses in Pattiswick, is set in the beautiful countryside of the Holfield Estate, a wonderful, unique venue for your wedding celebration. Formerly an award winning family run gastro pub, providing delicious food & exceptional service. With stunning scenery and a rustic interior, we pride ourselves on the fact that we are NOT a conventional wedding venue! Quite simply, when you host your wedding with us, The Compasses really is YOURS for the day! The Rufus Centre
The Rufus Centre provides a blank canvas for you to paint a picture of your perfect wedding. Our Lockyer Suite can accommodate up to 200 guests for your special day. Outside our wedding garden provides a stunning backdrop for your photographs – an ideal location for a drinks reception on a summer’s evening. The Rufus Centre is open for socially distanced showrounds. We have a choice of three rooms licensed to hold Civil Wedding and Partnership Ceremonies (under the new government guidelines) with a stunning wedding garden for photographs and have dates available this summer.
Marks Hall Estate
A historic 18th century coach house set within a 2,200 acre country estate or a tipi wedding in our secluded woodland meadow – the decision is yours. Located between the towns of Braintree and Colchester, Marks Hall Estate has a range of options for your wedding. The Estate includes broadleaved woodlands, a stunning Arboretum showcasing a collection of rare trees from across the globe, relaxing lakes, a walled garden and much more, all available as a backdrop for your wedding photography.
The 18th century Coach House with brick and exposed timber frames is full of character, overlooking the parterre garden where couples can marry in a romantic gazebo surrounded by carefully cultivated plants that flower throughout the summer season. New for 2020 is the introduction of Tipi Weddings, situated in our stunning secluded meadow at the top of the Arboretum. Seating up to 100 day guests and 200 evening guests in our giant tipis, couples can enjoy a humanist ceremony in the beautiful woodland.
Fanhams Hall
Set in 27 acres of stunning grounds, Fanhams Hall is a Grade II listed Jacobean mansion offering licensed outdoor and indoor civil ceremonies. With periodic features in the main house and a contemporary venue also we have something to suit everyone. We are now open for Wedding Showrounds but with of course lots of social distancing measures in place to keep both our couples and team safe! We are also doing everything we can to make sure the magic of looking around and exploring wedding venues is still in place as it should still be a special and exciting times for couples!
Wivenhoe House Hotel
Weddings at Wivenhoe House are everything you’d expect and more. Our stunning 17th Century, country house hotel makes the perfect backdrop for your wedding and is set in the most idyllic of locations. With sweeping staircases, elegant rooms and surrounded by beautiful Essex parkland, our venue is nothing far from spectacular. Licensed for civil ceremonies, we also have an outdoor Gazebo, overlooking our breathtaking grounds, so you can wed surrounded by nature and tranquillity. Here at Wivenhoe we have put a twist on tradition and fused the main house with a Garden Wing, which sits alongside the meticulously renovated historic house and offers a more modern experience.
We are now conducting private socially distanced viewings at our hotel, this will include the following safety measures. Viewings will only involve the bride, groom and one WHH Staff Member, with eople vulnerable to, or those shielding from, Covid-19 not allowed to attend. Social distancing, hand washing on entering and face coverings to be used. There can be no physical contact, all internal doors must be open, all surfaces must be sanitized after viewing and lifts should not be used except if needed for accessibility reasons.
The Swan at Lavenham Hotel and Spa

Golf World Stansted
Golf World Stansted is a venue for ceremonies & wedding receptions set in stunning parkland scenery near Bishops Stortford in Essex. At Golf World Stansted we have recently completed the refurbishment of our new Barn Suite, a very light and airy room with fantastic views across the golf course. The room is fully air-conditioned with bar, music and multicoloured lights. It easily converts to a dance floor and we have recently had a new balcony and patio installed with outdoor bar, as well as Oak Framed Pavilion for outdoor ceremonies. We are opening from 4th July. All social distancing measures currently in place include thermal imaging camera for temperature check on arrival, two metre markers, signs up all around, plastic screens up at the bar and extra cleaning.

Marygreen Manor Hotel

Blackfriars Restaurant and Banquet Hall
A beautiful 13th-century friary in the heart of Newcastle with heaps of character and an award-winning menu. Blackfriars’ ornate medieval Banquet Hall was the celebrated venue used by King Edward III to receive royal Scot, Edward Balliol, in 1334. It boasts authentic and bespoke banners, chandeliers, wall coverings, stained-glass windows, reclaimed wooden screens, large oak dining tables and matching chairs, all created by local craftsmen. The ground floor comprises the main restaurant, a stunning self-contained Banquet Hall and an ornate Parlour Bar for early arrivals and drinks receptions as well as a sheltered courtyard. The Wellbeing Farm
The Wellbeing Farm is an authentic countryside venue in the West Pennines of Lancashire, near Bolton. We’re the North West Countryside Wedding Venue of the Year 2019 for our unique weddings that involve bow-tie wearing llamas, alpacas, and donkeys! Built in the early 1300’s our award winning historic wedding venue, is dedicated to delivering a unique experience. The Castle, Barn and Ruins are available as an exclusive setting for your wedding and reception. We are an approved premises to hold Civil Marriages and Civil Partnerships in either the Court Room, Jury Room and the Wheelhouse - which can be used for outside ceremonies. We are currently offering viewings.
