This gem on Nassau’s North West coast, close to Love Beach, is one of Nassau’s best kept secrets. A colourful collection of wooden beach huts and villas on stilts, with a pool, restaurant, bar, shop and even a little spa.
Accommodation Choose between unique beachfront huts and stilted villas. The stilted villas offer exceptional accommodation; the ground floor is completely open, with a picnic table, space to entertain and a little kitchenette designed for open-air catering. Up the winding wooden staircase is a huge, round bedroom, with air conditioning, TV, coffee making facilities - but also books, magazines and knick-knacks to give a home-from-home feel. The ensuite bathroom has a double shower with huge shuttered windows; open them up and it feels like an open-air shower. A favourite hangout for musicians, each room has a plaque dedicated to a different musician who made history while staying at, or near, Compass Point.
What To Do Compass Point is the perfect place to unwind; comfortable sun loungers around the pool, huge sofas in the outdoor bar area, a jacuzzi overlooking the sea, and even a long wooden jetty reaching out into the Atlantic with a pair of white painted rocking chairs at the end. There is a rocky beach area, or a sandy beach right next door, accessible through the property. If you are looking for water sports, nightlife and a faster pace of life, the main centre of Nassau is a 20 minute taxi ride away.

Weddings at Compass Point With so many perfect Bahamian photo opportunities and such friendly, helpful staff and managers, Compass Point is a fantastic choice for a laid back Caribbean wedding. We particularly like the idea of hosting a small informal party in the privacy below the stilted villas.
