The Royal Wedding is fast approaching, and we can't wait to find out more about Harry and Meghan's big day. British shoe designer Charlotte Mills has created the perfect pair of wedding heels to help complete Meghan's wedding day look...

Ahead of the Royal Wedding on Saturday 19th May, Charlotte Mills has designed a pair of wedding shoes that are perfect for bride-to-be Meghan. "The design I have created would be a style that I could picture her wearing: simple and elegant with feminine details." The design features a pointed pearl glitter toe, a block heel, and Charlotte Mills' signature criss-cross heart detail with delicate ankle strap.

"Meghan loves a point style, and we have had to incorporate one of our signature hearts into this style too," says Charlotte. "The block heel is so popular with our brides, as you are on your feet all day. They want to feel comfortable and block heels are perfect for dancing the night away.”

Like Charlotte Mills bridal shoes, the Meghan shoe includes an original silver sixpence. This is a British tradition, where the father would give his daughter a sixpence on her wedding day to bring her good luck and prosperity throughout her married life. In every pair of Charlotte Mills shoes, there is a silver sixpence in the left shoe, and the traditional rhyme 'Something old, something blue' is embossed onto the sole of the shoes.

Want to get the look? The Meghan Shoe will be handcrafted in the finest kid leather and crushed pearl glitter, and will be available to buy from charlottemills.com in May.
