Botanical Wedding Trends
Use your wedding to create a luscious garden paradise. This year, greenery is Pantone’s hottest trending colour and we’ve found ways which you bring a stunning natural backdrop indoors for your big day.

Greenery is this year’s colour of new beginnings: It’s fantastically natural, modern and reviving! In the colder months, especially, it’s perfect for bringing the great outdoors into your venue.
Installations
This year, take eyes upwards. Expert event planners such as Bryan Ranelli have been raving about ceiling potential! Create a sense of wonder by hanging garlands or weaving greenery along beams or a freestanding framework over your venue. You can incorporate floating orbs or lights into the design, which will give a feeling of the enchanted.
Trees
You can’t get more botanical than live plants, and trees are a major go-to for creating an impact. You can line aisles with trees for a verdant vista, or, have them in and amongst the tables of your venue. There’s no limit to the choices you can go for – olive, citrus, cypress, birch… Plenty of these will work! We’d recommend either renting or purchasing and planting, so that after your wedding, you can stay as sustainable as possible.

Plant Life
Clippings, specimens, jars, terrariums: Anything with leaves has been making a big appearance on Pinterest this year. Focus on lush, leafy greens and accents for your wedding, set against the simplest of backdrops. The colour of the year can’t be wrong!
Pale flowers
Less is more with this trend: To achieve a natural, rustic look, keep it pared down! Go for neutral, pale coloured flowers to compliment the greens – we think that white and peach look stunning! Remember, you don’t need lots of flowers to nail this trend. Rather, create small accents here and there with your florals.
Let the greenery do the talking!
Check out wedding venues in East London, West London and South London which are located in stunning settings and perfect for encapsulating the botanical trend.
