Animal Magic

There was more than a little animal magic in the air last summer when Caroline and Mark tied the knot at the beautiful Marwell Hall, situated in the heart of Marwell Wildlife (formerly known as Marwell Zoo) with a host of delightful feathered and furry friends who were only too happy to be part of the couple’s big day.

The guests were treated to rides on the land train, which took them around the zoo both before and after the ceremony, and there was even a special Bridal Train for the happy couple themselves. Knowing that part of the celebrations would involve feeding the enchanting ring tailed lemurs, Caroline was keen to choose a shorter style dress from the outset. ‘I knew I wanted a short dress, and I really didn’t want to try lots on. I was delighted when I found this one, as there’s not a great deal of choice of dresses at this length!’ she explains.

The look was completed by giraffe print wellies – just one of the animal touches that adorned the day, including paw prints on the name cards and menus, cuddly animal table centres and adorable animal marzipan figures as favours!
