A wedding puzzle

We won't lie, we've stolen this idea from Alice and Matthew's Real Wedding, but it's too good not to share. Alice bought a blank puzzle and asked her guests to write their name or a message on each piece, and then pop it into a cute little jar. Not only was it a great added decoration on the day, but it was the perfect way to relive their special day once they got back from their honeymoon.

Wooden Hearts

Have your guests write their name and a (tiny) message on these adorable wooden hearts, for a really cute alternative guest book. Keep them in a personalised wooden box like this one, or display them in a frame for a romantic way to remember your big day.

Fill-out cards on tables

If you want to make sure that all your guests leave you a message, leave a card on each place setting. Whether you create these yourselves or have these made by a stationery supplier, you can add in whatever questions you'd like - we love the idea of each guest leaving their favourite memory of the bride or groom.

Polaroid Guest Book

A fun alternative guest book idea is creating a polaroid guest book. Set up a little station with a polaroid camera, and ask your guests to take a selfie, and leave a message on the back. You'll find that the later the evening gets, the funnier the messages are, and they'll be a hilarious reminder of the big day once you get back from your honeymoon

Have you got any alternative guest book ideas? We'd love to hear them!
