Spring is so close - along with flower season; it's enough to make any bride-to-be giddy! With all the anticipation for Spring/Summer weddings, it's definitely time to get to the florist and deck out your wedding party! You can mix it up though: If you strive for the unique, as a fabulous individual, then definitely dare to rock an alternative bouquet down the aisle! We're here to totally inspire you with bridal bouquets in all shapes and sizes...

Butterflies

A flurry of butterflies will definitely cause a frenzy! For the free-spirited, bohemian bride, nothing is more symbolic than having your own wings! You can be super creative with this one, using either paper, die-cut or fabric butterflies springing all over the show on wires for a fabulously 3-D effect! This'll keep your wedding colourful, upbeat and looking lovely.

Great Gatsby

We've seen a surge in bedazzled alternative bouquets (VERY Great Gatsby) using all manner of gems, broaches and costume jewellery... The great thing about repurposing is you can go vintage, play with different metallic or jewel-toned colour schemes and tailor a truly bespoke piece! Not only glitzy and glamorous, recalling the height of Old Hollywood, a bouquet made from jewellery can be transformed into a keepsake - your very own personal heirloom, bursting with memories!

Seashells

Take inspiration from under the sea with a bunch of faux-shells and treasures from the deep! Especially if you're having a beach wedding, this alternative bouquet would work a dream! We love how these shells have been balanced out with pretty island flowers, making for a delicate touch!

Paper

Are you in love with books? Bookish brides rejoice! Origami your way to a highly original bouquet, made from the pages of a favourite book. We don't think that there's anything more romantic than this idea - carrying a bouquet made up from quotes on love! Plus you'd be doing the environment a huge favour by recycling old favourites. Once you're married, this would be a fabulous piece to add to your own bookshelf or little library!

Umbrella

Feeling tropical? How about a parasol made entirely of flowers! We've seen this down the runway and we LOVE how the cascading flowers look - the perfect frame for your bridal beauty! This makes for a beautifully natural look, taking it's cues from the simplicity of nature. If you're keeping your wedding fresh and botanical, we think that this would be a clear winner!

Pinwheel

For the fun-loving bride, a pin-wheel would be amazing! Especially if you're blessed with a breezy day! This gives us major at the seaside vibes: Think sticks of rock, polka dot swimsuits and racing down the pier! This would also be an especially cute idea for your younger bridesmaids or flower girls!
