Set in 14 acres of manicured gardens, the hotel boasts some of the finest grounds in South Cumbria, while you’re having your pictures taken your guests can enjoy a glass of something chilled on the terrace or wander the exquisite grounds. Accessible from the M6 with Lakes Coniston & Windermere a mere 40 minutes drive.
Leaving your guests to soak up the atmosphere and enjoy a glass of something chilled, you will find plenty of locations throughout the hotel and grounds to have your perfect day captured and memories which will last forever.
We have taken great care to produce you a selection of wedding packages suitable for all tastes, encompassing a variety of different features to suit individual styles and choice.

Your wedding breakfast can be held in the Great Abbey Hall which can seat up to 86 or the Furness room which is for more intimate gatherings, can accommodate up to 25. Larger numbers can be catered for in the Duddon Suite or if you prefer, why not have a marquee in the grounds.
Following your wedding breakfast, the celebrations can continue with music or entertainment of your choice. Guests can enjoy the gardens on a summer's night but still get mixed up in the excitement of your evening reception.
