If you're planning a wedding in Bloomsbury, then you'll need to find the perfect wedding venue! These are some of our top picks for wedding venues in Bloomsbury and the surrounding area...

Kimpton Fitzroy London

Kimpton Fitzroy

This gorgeous 19th-century venue contains several beautifully resorted spaces in which to host your ideal wedding. One is a luxurious ballroom with original architectural details such as arches and high windows which bathe the room in natural light, perfectly highlighting the stunning golden accents. The other is the Palm Court space which features an incredible glass ceiling, comfortable seating and gorgeous greenery, creating a sensational atmosphere for your wedding. There is also the added bonus of a private area of Russell Square Gardens opposite the hotel for photographs!

The Foundling Museum

The Foundling Museum

This elegant Georgian-style venue is certainly unique with its picturesque rooms steeped in history. The Court Room is a gorgeous intimate setting, seating less than 100, with its impressive Rococo interior. Imagine having your reception surrounded by artworks by great British painters William Hogarth and Thomas Gainsborough, with views of Brunswick Square! There is a larger space, the Picture Gallery, for up to 250 guests, which houses a selection of artistic treasures. You can even have exclusive use of the Museum itself, exploring its offerings surrounded by opulent architecture, perfect for a wedding with a historic theme!

RIBA Bloomsbury

RIBA

This Grade II listed historic venue retains many of its original 1930s features, such as floor-to-ceiling windows, marble columns and carved stone details. The First Floor Landing, with its soaring ceilings and marble pillars, has a luxurious feel, which the resident grand piano certainly adds to! The Aston Webb Room has gorgeous leather-lined walls and Indian laurel wood joinery. This creates the perfect intimate atmosphere for a ceremony of 40. The Lutyens Room's towering windows create a light and airy space for 70 guests. Meanwhile, the sophisticated Jarvis Foyer and bright and elegant RIBA Gallery provides the perfect area for 120-140 guests. For larger ceremonies, Jarvis Hall can seat 250. If you are looking for something even more unique, you can use the stunning First Floor staircase or one of three fabulous terraces.

Rosewood London

The Rosewood

When it comes to wedding venues in Bloomsbury, we love The Rosewood. This stunning Grade II listed venue perfectly blends a heritage feel with modern elegance, creating a distinctive romantic aura. The Grand Ballroom is a refined and luxurious space, accommodating between 280 and 350 guests on its grand dance floor under glittering chandeliers. There is a balcony overlooking the Grand Ballroom’s magnificent foyer, with a capacity of either 70 or 280. The Living Room, an elegant lounge area perfect for an intimate celebration, holds up to 50 guests.

L'oscar London | Valentine's Day Getaway | Guides for Brides

L'Oscar

This chic and unique venue was originally an Edwardian Baptist church, now specifically designed with decadence in mind. The spaces are unique historic rooms melded with Parisian style, featuring opulent colours and baroque details. The elegant Library, which can hold 80, and the spectacular Committee Room, which is more intimate at 25 guests, still have many of their original features from the Arts & Crafts era with bold jewel tones and intricate details at every turn. For a slightly larger and equally lavish setting, there is The Baptist Grill. Here, you can say your vows under the divine dome of the breathtaking former chapel.

The Bloomsbury Ballroom

The Bloomsbury Ballroom

This opulent venue is in a Georgian inspired building but inside it is all gorgeous 1920s Art Deco. The ballroom’s high ceilings, lavish windows and marble entrance are absolutely breathtaking and can hold up to 300 guests. There are several wedding packages available, such as a 3-course banquet, drinks package and DJ, or "dry hire" packages. Overall, the venue offers immense versatility and can be a perfect blank slate for you to create your dream wedding.

The Montague on the Gardens

The Montague on the Gardens

This Georgian townhouse is a beautiful venue that features rich furnishings, exquisite antiques and an atmosphere of sophisticated charm. These elegant details appear throughout the three indoor function spaces. The Great Russell Suite holds up to 150 guests, while the Woburn Suite can seat up to 35 guests. The Conservatory hosts 30 guests, as well as overlooking stunning private gardens. For those warmer months, there is also a secluded garden terrace.
