From quirky wedding ideas to dreamy Disney dresses - The National Wedding Show didn't fail to impress. We met some lovely suppliers and were inspired by new wedding trends which dominated the catwalk and stands.  Here are our top 5 highlights from the day...\nA Catwalk Twist - With front row seats, we were quickly captivated by the stunning dresses which glided down the catwalk.  Dresses with pockets were a recurrent theme, alongside gorgeous pastel shades, and decadent backless designs. A new section of the catwalk showcased Debenhams' new seductive lingerie selection.\n

Give Me a Sign - Signs are a quirky idea for any wedding and we saw plenty at The National Wedding Show! Signs can even be personalised, making for a unique feature at your big day.  For those on a tight budget, they can make a great DIY option.\n

50 Shades of Grey - With the release of 50 Shades last week, we were left wondering whether this had been incorporated into a certain catwalk scene. With a handsome and mysterious male model alongside a blindfolded bride - we couldn't help but feel the presence of 50 Shades.\n

"Just Married" Flip Flops - We were intrigued by Wedding Flip Flops and their tag line, "when you're feet are tired & sore, kick off your heels & dance some more." Such a great idea for wedding guests or your honeymoon. The flip flops for newlyweds imprint on the sand, spelling "just married" - a great photo opportunity.\n

Disney Dresses  - We finally got a glimpse of the new Disney wedding dress collection by the famous Alfred Angelo.  With the stunning Frozen inspired dress starting off the scene, dresses inspired by Aladdin, Snow White and The Little Mermaid followed in spectacular fashion.\n
