Choosing your veil may sound simple, but brides often struggle with finding which veil is best for them. Depending on your dress, hair, and wedding theme, you may want a specific type of veil to compliment your bridal look. From fabrics, to styles, to tiaras, there are endless options that can look amazing. But, if you need somewhere to start, here's everything you need to know about choosing the perfect veil and tiara for you.

Fabric

From delicate, feminine lace to timeless tulle, the fabric of your veil is an important decision. The fabric you choose and how it's cut will affect how the veil sits, so it's worth taking some time to think about what is best for you. By far the most popular choice for brides is tulle, which is light and floaty and hangs perfectly at any length. Tulle comes in many bridal colours, from classic white to a range of blush shades, so feel free to experiment and have some fun with your veil!

Length

When it comes to choosing the length of your veil, it's important to think about your dress and hair. For example, if your dress has a beautiful, statement back, you might want to opt for a shorter veil. But, if you've chosen a strapless dress, have some fun with an extravagant, long veil. The style and length of your hair might also factor in to your choice of veil.

Removable Veils

One of the most important things to know about veils is that they should be detachable. Although they look beautiful as you walk down the aisle, you might not want it attached for the entire day. Lots of brides say that their veils can get irritating, especially on a windy day! So, speak to your wedding hairdresser in advance and work out how the veil should be attached in a way that's easily removable. This way, throughout the day, you can take it out yourself if you want to.

Tiaras

If you want to instantly add a touch of glamour to your bridal look, a tiara is a wonderful option. This opulent bridal accessory is a wonderful choice for brides who want to incorporate some fairytale magic into their day. Although dainty silver with diamond embellishments is a timeless choice, why not update your tiara with stylish rose-gold?
