I'm delighted to see you! Please call me Em. So, after a hugely varied and successful career, I have brought together the best of my skills and experience, warmth and humour to provide you with a totally personal service, celebrating the love and connection that you share with that special person. The joy of being able to support you is immeasurable; making people happy is my business. I work across Kent and South East London, in the main, although you are very welcome to get in touch if you're Essex or Sussex based too! I'm based in the rather lovely city of Canterbury and a preferred supplier at a few cracking venues, so if you need inspiration I can also guide you to some of the county's gems.
Weddings are days we'll never forget but sometimes people look for something a bit different. Commitment Ceremonies are a wonderful way of saying 'this is our forever', without the need or desire for legally binding ties. For others, renewing the vows of past years can be a way to strengthen a marriage, and is often a way to heal when as a couple you have endured the storms that life invariably brings.

FAQs
A registrar will legally marry you whereas I do the fun bit. I lead your service and create the script, as well as recommend those unique tweaks you can make.
For weddings, both parties are secular, that is, non-religious. However, an independent celebrant may be happy to use religious sayings/hymns etc and will often refer to spirituality and different forms of belief.
My wedding prices start at £550
Absolutely! That's one of the best parts of my job, to encapsulate what you want to say, and how you want to say it.
You can write as much or as little as you are comfortable with, and I will work with you to help with expression if you need support.
You'll need to be legally married or have a registrar present to marry you during the service.
I am delighted to cater for all matches; love is the motivator in all that I do.
My role is not that of a vicar or pastor but I will celebrate in the love between, and joining of, any 2 people.
Absolutely, I need to get to know you so that I can make your service totally bespoke, and understand what makes you tick as a couple. We can do zoom meetings, but i feel the first proper contact should be in person.

I love lights and sparkly things that add magic to a celebration! I try to be as environmentally friendly as possible and don’t favour the release of balloons as their impact can be damaging. I will always work with your goals and together we will find the perfect ways to celebrate!
